Spock called himself a fool when he wasnt recording history on his tricorder in "City on the Edge of Forever" and Kirk called himself a fool for the way he acted in the hearing in "Deadly Years"

Nice guess, but alas the rabbit is not on the pleasure planet this round. Another clue later.

There's a nice scene in this episode that is pure padding, but dramatically effective, and could easily have been used in other episodes.

    Amok Time?
    1. ?
    2. Spock is acting foolish during pon farr.
    3. Chekov says, "I think I'm going to get space sick." due to changing course between Altair and Vulcan several times. :barf:
    4. The marriage party walks and stands in a single line.
    5. Convenient that T'Pau of Vulcan is in charge. "All of Vulcan in one package. How can I back out in front of her?" :vulcan:
    6. Run, Spock, Run! I guess that's good advice to Spock to not marry b#tch T'Pring. :scream:
    7. Minimalist set pieces/props at the Vulcan marriage site.
    8. Bringing Kirk back to life to bring emotional outbursts out of Spock. :rommie:

Lovely conclusions Henoch, but it isn't Spock's day today.

    Clue # 9
Our mission is almost slap bang in the middle of this episode. The rest of the story is pure encounter.

This is probably one of the most 'talky' episodes there is.

    1. This episode oddly uses different terminology for a function of the ship, than any other episode. Pressure doors on the hangar deck?
    2. He calls himself a fool. But who, or what, is actually the fool in this episode? LOKAI: What a fool I am, expecting help from someone like you. - Both of the citizens/inhabitants of Cheron for their racism.
    3. I think I'm getting space sick... Lokai is not feeling too hot when he comes aboard.
    4. Let's all stand in a line, shall we. - Not quite sure what you're referring to.
    5. Interesting convenience going on here... The Enterprise happens to be on a assignment to decontaminate the planet Ariannus when it just "happens" to run across a stolen Federation shuttlecraft.
    6. Run, rabbit, run. - Lokai's evasion of Bele, especially at the end of the episode.
    7. Neat or cheap? It sounds like your talking about the Dinner scene with Bele, Kirk and Spock.
    8. There's a nice scene in this episode that is pure padding, but dramatically effective, and could easily have been used in other episodes. - The auto-destruct scene?
    9. Our mission is almost slap bang in the middle of this episode. The rest of the story is pure encounter. - Decontamination of the planet Ariannus.
    10. This is probably one of the most 'talky' episodes there is. - Yep, lots of conversational scenes between characters.

I think you have it @Lord Other. (I think clue 7 might refer to Bele's invisible ship which is kind of technically neat while costing zero dollars for the CGI/special effect, i.e. very cheap.)

    1. This episode oddly uses different terminology for a function of the ship, than any other episode.
'Directional controls' are referred to, instead of simply 'setting course'. A leftover from an early draft maybe?
    2. He calls himself a fool. But who, or what, is actually the fool in this episode?
    Correct!
As you say, LOKAI: What a fool I am, expecting help from someone like you. - Both of the citizens/inhabitants of Cheron for their racism.
    3. I think I'm getting space sick...
Nice guess, but I was referring to the zooming in and out of the camera onto the red alert, used a couple of times in the episode. It sticks out, to me.
    4. Let's all stand in a line, shall we.
Kirk, Spock, Chekhov and Uhura stand in a line and the camera pans past each of them, as they watch bridge controls being destroyed. As with the zoom in above, the director makes some creative camera decisions in an otherwise fairly tedious episode.
    5. Interesting convenience going on here..
Here I refer to the door being ajar in the recreation room allowing Spock to conveniently eavesdrop.
    6. Run, rabbit, run. - Correct! Lokai's evasion of Bele, especially at the end of the episode. I specifically meant the ending.
    7. Neat or cheap? Henoch is correct. The invisible ship idea is neat, but production-wise saves on costs of building a new model.
    8. There's a nice scene in this episode that is pure padding, but dramatically effective, and could easily have been used in other episodes. Correct! The auto-destruct scene.
    9. Our mission is almost slap bang in the middle of this episode. The rest of the story is pure encounter. - Correct! Decontamination of the planet Ariannus.
    10. This is probably one of the most 'talky' episodes there is. - Correct! Yep, lots of conversational scenes.

Well done! The bridge is yours!
