Game Name That Star Trek CHARACTER

The Gorn from Arena
1. Can't see the actor in the costume.
2. "Wait for me, I'll be merciful and quick."
3. Gorn Claw Swish (TM)
4. Neither branch or boulder slowed him down (well, more than he already was.)
5. dunno, ears eyes and snout maybe?

Excellent BK613!

Here’s some added explanation to your thoughts....

1. Bill Theiss’ tunic design covered up the Gorn gonads.
2. Starfleet dental plan would take care of the Gorn’s chompers.
3. Those Gorn punches were slooowwww.
4. A branch and a rock had no effect on the Gorn.
5. In behind the scenes photos, the Gorn costume consisted of feet, hands, lower torso, upper torso and head.

BK613 now assumes command!

^ They both lost sons, soooooo for some dumb reason I’m thinking Sarek in TAS Yesteryear. If I remember correctly, Spock dies but he goes back in time and meets Sarek or something like that.

The Kirk-Nomad guess is outstanding.

But I will go with Dr. Richard Daystrom.

1. Dialogue in The Ultimate Computer indicates that he may think of the M-5 as his child, and he loses that child.
2. He invested himself in the M-5 by impressing his memory engrams into its circuits. Also, I believe that the spelling of part of the clue as "in vest" could be a reference to the fantastic ensemble (including a vest at times) that Daystrom's awesome portrayer, William Marshall, wore as Blacula.

And whether this guess is right or not, I'd like to say how much I'm utterly enjoying this thread. Why, just last page I couldn't help but happen to notice a picture of Deela, Queen of Scalos. Yes. That's her. I mean, well, to be a gentleperson about it, you have got to be frigging kidding me [sounds of Phaser Two on overload]

Agreed. I was just going to post similar comments, but you beat me to it. :techman:

I thought I had unlimited knowledge of TOS, but this thread proved me wrong. I really have to work my brain in overtime to figure out some of these clues. But it is fun and educational, too.

@Phaser Two and @Spock's Barber
Judge Chamberlain Haller:
Mr. Gambini, that is a lucid, well thought-out, intelligent objection.

Vinny Gambini:
Thank you.

Judge Chamberlain Haller:
Overruled.

3. I never thought I wood wind up on a starship.

I'll guess Odona. I don't actually think it is right, but I think we need more clues and a bad guess is one way to get one.

My long reaching explanations are ...

1. A loss that Jack O'Neil and Theoden would understand.
If Odona dies (which she does not do) then the loss of a child experienced by her father would tie in here

2. So much of me to in vest
I don't know what vests have to do with Odona, but much of her (actually all) will be sacrificed if she dies for her people.

3. I never thought I wood wind up on a starship.

She ends up on the real Enterprise at the end and probably did not expect that. I don't know what the wood is, but maybe there is a prop mistake somewhere in this episode that reveals the wood construction of the ship?

Tark?
1. Since she was a little girl, she danced for me. She was my daughter.
2. He wore a vest.
3. He played a wood wind instrument, and ended up on the Enterprise for the investigation.
4. His sitting position during the spooky mumbo jumbo.
Yes! On number 1, both Theoden and movieJack (only one "L") expressed a parent should not outlive their child.
