Name That Episode, VOYAGER Edition...

No... you'd eventually get crushed to death by being stuck in a singularity for too long because you never found the 'crack in the ice'.

Well since I've been admonished, incinerated, and crushed into paste, I think I'll let someone else try.

Clue recap...
1. A sharp pain in the knees.
2. Three letters helps this person.
3. Not inflated.
4. The bridge is for trusted people.
5. The Doctor is not fooled.

New clue...
6. Fooling us with a deity.

A lot going on lately, so I am giving two new clues to help make up the difference.

8. Another version of an old phrase.
9. Not a Starfleet mission.

You got it!

Here are the clue explanations...

1. A sharp pain in the knees... Neelix describes this as one of the symptoms of what happens when you eat a kalo.

2. Three letters helps this person... Seska's command program that transports her to the Kazon was called "XJL", which helped her escape.

3. Not inflated... Torres does not inflate her time estimates.

4. The bridge is for trusted people... Chakotay tells Seska that you don't assign someone you don't trust to the bridge.

5. The Doctor is not fooled... Seska's claim of the bone marrow transplant didn't fool the Doctor.

6. Fooling us with a deity... When she sees Chakotay in the cave, Seska says "Thank the Prophets." Given we discover she is actually a Cardassian, this was a clever way to keep us believing she's Bajoran.

7. The third possibility happened... Tuvok tells Janeway there are 3 possible scenarios when they discover the technology. It turns out it was someone on the crew giving the Kazon stuff.

8. Another version of an old phrase... Neelix's trader phrase 'Never judge a fruit by its skin' is obviously another version of 'Never judge a book by its cover'.

9. Not a Starfleet mission... Seska said it was 'strictly a Maquis Operation' when she took the mushrooms.

10. Soup... Mushroom soup.

Your turn, filmnoter.

I remembered the scene of #1 but could not remember which episode it was from. I initially thought it was Basics Pt. 2. State of Flux introduced us to the infamous leola root.

I couldn’t place the inflation clue, so thanks for telling us what it was.

#8, this episode also referred to at least two other old sayings, one about “pulling wool over my eyes” and “misery loves company” although those phrasings were used, and not a revision.

As for the soup, I thought the reference was to Paris ranting about tomato soup, or to one of the several references of plomeek soup. I forgot about the mushroom soup in this episode.

Since I don’t post on this forum often, I will pass the honor of choosing an episode to Oddish, since they were the first to post after the answer was revealed. If Oddish doesn’t want to take a turn maybe Farscape One can select someone. Thanks!

A wild-eyed Captain Janeway chases you all over the ship with a knife.

2. Dissension in the ranks.

"LIFESIGNS"?

The Kazon Jonas talks to found dissension among the crew to be interesting news to tell Culluh.

The Doctor falls in love, which is like a promotion to his programming.
