A tiny splash of color in the ears wouldn't go astray either. I know he didn't always have color in his ears, but this little guy can only be helped by some color variety. He only needs a little purple outline between his hair and face
Probably because prototypes require reworking based on how the materials respond to the mold.Got an email from Nacelle today. They say it looks like mid-late Feb is when they will be able to start shipping again.
There are also comparison pictures of the Weyoun that is out now and the improved version that will be shipped next month. I can’t post punctures but damn…a vast improvement.
The likeness isn’t 100% but the revised figure looks almost like a total resculpt.
Updated look at Archer…neither one is a great likeness.
Reminds me of Statler and Waldorf.Yeah, the second one is better for sure. Maybe it’s the nose…seems a bit too bulbous.
I'm not impressed with Archer at all, doesn't really look like Bakula even with the tweaks. It's a shame because the renders looked great and Art Asylum did a flawless Archer 25 years ago.
Weyoun and Jellico seem good though.
Reminds me of Statler and Waldorf.
I know some people have been frustrated by the delay and I feel bad about it, so hopefully when you get your figures you’ll think the wait was worth it! We have come as close as we can to the renders and will continue to work on improving the facial technology in particular on the second wave and beyond.
We have focused on bringing fan-desired characters to life via plastidc, worked hard to keep the price point below 30 bucks (even after tariffs were added to the cost) and have tried to have some fun with the selections and accessories.
We have put a lot of joy into making these figures, and while sales have been great and continue to stay solid, if the community doesn’t support our Star Trek line at the volume we need to keep in going then we will very sadly stop making them as there no need for us to take the risks we are taking if the community is not happy.
It might be cliche to say we’re all in it together, but it’s the truth as it relates to Star Trek figures in 2026.
