My memory's bad, can anyone help me with this story arc?

Hi, first, just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me remember that one story about a base under siege a few weeks back. Now I'm trying to remember a story arc.

The story begins when the Doctor is on an unrelated quest and a character gives him some sort of "prophecy". It's not explained why this character would logically have information about the Doctor's future, and he either doesn't think to ask more questions or can't get a straight answer. As the episodes progress we begin to see subtle (and blatant) hints about what's to come.

Characters write down the words of the prophecy in the background. New and old characters reveal traits that make them seem to be the fulfillment of the prophecy.

I do remember that the end doesn't make as much sense as anyone wanted it to. Does this sound familiar?

At least in one of the stories. It take a while. Oh, sometimes the clues show up in places where there's no reason for them to exist.

I guess there is some truth to the idea that you can write the same material for any Doctor, it's the actors who can make it sound different and unique.

Try the Pandorica speech in David Tennant's voice and demeanour as the Tenth Doctor. It comes off great, but really, ferociously angry.

There's YouTube footage of various old school Doctors reciting the Pandorica speech. Though for my money nobody matches Matt's take.
