Here's what the movie needs to do: Kirk needs to be tested. Kirk needs to grow up.

If the testing also involves the whole "family," that sounds like a plan.

The rest can be whatever. Khan, tribbles, Khan wearing a coat made of tribbles, etc.

My feelings exactly. It'll be very hard to not click threads screaming about news. I had no pre-conceived ideas about the last movie and was much better for it.
