Just an update - I recorded a rough (VERY rough) demo of a song progression last night and sent it to mrcoaster and Aurian for their musical and creative input. It needs work, and it's only a beginning, but I wanted to let everyone know we've gotten started.

That won't be necessary. It would be cool to have a male voice counter-melody on some verses and we certainly will need harmonies, so you're in.

It's a pun on "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". Having the lovely Aurian as lead singer demolishes the "homely" part, so we'd need a better name anyway.

Hey, now there's a job for CorporalClegg and doubleohfive - come up with a list of band names, and we'll have a contest. OK, "left-outers", get to work!

I have a question...by "trumpets and sax," do you mean "trombone?" If so, I would love to be a part of this ultimate project. I could also hammer out some piano/keyboards stuff, or supply more background vocals, if you need any more. I'm no professional, but I'm assuming after the first track is released, everyone in this band will be!
