Well, I think that's open. Sometime next week I will send a crude demo of an original song (meaning, me singing and playing guitar) to those who have signed up. You guys will be welcome (in fact, urged) to critique the song, and should it pass muster we can then discuss what style of music fits it best.
My take is that it should have a pop song feel - fast and fun. That covers a lot of stylistic ground!

Hey I signed up! I better get a copy of it!! If only for humiliating music video purposes! I mean, so I can play my trumpet. Yeah. Thats it. :thumbsup:
If we're doing a music video, I want one of those mirrored image effects. You know - the ones where my left half is mirrored to be my right half and as I bend one way or the other, the mirrored halves merge into each other and/or separate. Gotta have one of those!
Oh, and we definitely should either have the drum being hit, but it's not a drum, it's a liquid and splashes or one of those shots that looks like a mirror only we throw something into it and that's water.
Of course, I can't write the whole video. I'll need other ideas.

We need a bit where you are filmed walking backwards into a pool of water playing a guitar, then we reverse the film and it looks like you are walking towards us out of the pond, and you are magically dry!
