George Takei: "But what about my line explaining how I was to be Decker's First Officer before Kirk came on board?"
Wise: "Sorry, we're already behind schedule, it's not really that important is it?"
Takei: "But it will drive the fans nuts wondering who Captain Decker's First officer was going to be, me or Sonak!"
Wise: "Lighten up George, it's not that important. And if it is, I'm sure they'll explain it in one of the novels down the road."
