lol, i forgot about that one. that nearly made me fall out of my chair.
I just went through and read this thread from start to finish (and yes, I went through all five pages) and was surprised the posters before me failed to point out the "Phantasms" episode.
* The three miners ripping Data apart in the middle of the corridor.
* Seeing Troi as a cake.
* Don't even get me started on Data stabbing the s**t out of the real Troi. Well, the corridor is empty and she's all sscared and whatnot because it's just her there. Then when Data joins her in the turbolift, he stabs her. If Braga ("Phantasms"' author) actually intended for that epiosde to be horror, he did a great job doing so...
* When the miners were about to stab Geordi and Picard, and then Data before he stopped them.

I didn't find this disturbing... for me it was ewwwww. Especially when Crusher makes noises like she's having an orgasm.
Some other disturbing scenes that have been tying my stomach in knots over and over again for decades:
Charlie X begging to be allowed to stay among humans and promising to be good;
Zarabeth, utterly alone, trudging away;
The child creature in “Miri” crying over his broken tricycle;
Apollo in tears because his time has come and gone;
Leila’s red nose and ugly face from crying.
Uh-oh; I think I need to go call my mental health provider now to work on my abandonment issues.
Also - the entire Wolf in the Fold episode from opening screenshot to smarmy closing line was one long disturbing event.

Wow...I forgot that one, like most of Voyager, but that just about gave me nightmares!
Now, if we could include fanfic, there is someone here whose writing scared me so badly (because it was done well, not badly) that I DID have nightmares!
It was Nurse Ogawa's performance in the turbo lift that was a little too realistic for me.

Never mind them blowing off his head. Him eating up that crab-roach hybrid thingie was far more disgusting imo.
YES. That is exactly the part I was going to point out, where he just opened his mouth and let it in.
To this day, I cannot watch that bit. Yuck.
