Interpreting the "eye of a needle" simile as a pro-capitalism statement... How did they manage it?
It's been a while and so I'd slightly misremembered their angle - it was in fact their claim that Jesus was not pro-socialism (which is almost as bizarre)

I miss Hitchens
It's a shame he died, but Hitch had some real issues: sexism, racism, militarism. He was very intelligent, but he was a condescending, hateful man when he wanted to be, and that was more often than was good for anyone.

He made some excellent points. Like when he said that Christianity was like living in North Corea, except worse.
