Moments that give you Chills?

I always have a pretty full fridge, but cooking is a hobby of mine. It's a nice stress reliever to take a knife to something after a long day.

- Back to back walk-off home runs last week

- Ike Davis falling into the dugout while catching a fly ball for like the 3rd or 4th time

To be truly chill inspiring, I think the moment should usually be on the biggest stage and should be a pivotal or singular moment in the game, one that will be remembered for decades.

Somebody catching a ball and falling into the dugout in a regular season game will be forgotten by the next game. Somebody making a circus catch over the opposing dugout rail to record the final out of a no hitter or perfect game - now you're talking.

First one that comes to mind is in the 1999 Rugby World Cup semi-final between Australia and SA. Well into extra time scores are still locked and Larkham kicks his first attempt at a drop goal from nearly 50 m out and it sails through.

Another one would be John Eales penalty kick in extra time to retain the Bledisloe in 2000.

Well, not every such moment has to mean the same for everyone.

For example, I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is one of the three greatest moments of my entire life, it doesn't much for anyone who doesn't support the same football team as I do, but I still get tears of joy in my eyes when I watch it years after it happened.

I was at that game too. That's why I never leave before the end. You miss great moments like that.

Awesome. I always stay until the end, no matter what. They could be down by 20 runs and I'd be sitting there until the gulls made their entrance. I was actually gathering my things when Pablo hit that homer...we were all so convinced it was over. Well, it was over...but only when Pablo said so.

This is mine. I grew up in Chicago, I'm a lifelong Blackhawks fan, but I've loved the Avalanche for a long time (I became a fan when Patrick Roy came to town), and to see Ray Bourque hoist the Cup was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I was in my junior year of high school at the time, and I watched the entire playoffs with my best friend (who had moved to Chicago a few years prior after living in Denver).

That Game 7 was incredible.
