Took Essie to the lake today.
She had a bit of fun in the water:

She was being such a goof I took a little video of her playing in the water. She hasn't quite figured out how to swim yet but she's really good at skipping around in it.
Awesome dog! Loved the video, too. Took my dog down to the lake once, but she's terrified of water. She'd walk in after me, but run out right away!

I got to visit a friend and her fresh (16 hours old!) baby yesterday. Next week I get to go to his bris, which will be a first for me.
And because they were on my phone, some shots I took of where I live. I could see Long Island across the sound that day, but my phone didn't capture it very well.

I took Helena dock diving yesterday evening at the boat launch by us. I'm kicing myself for not taking pictures. She's 48 pounds of lean, graceful, striking Lab.
I also had fun with big, oafy, belly flop Rupert. Great dog, not much of a Lab in the strictest sense though.
No more cute puppy pics but I did make this new soap sadly not in time for Towel Day.

Here is me with my unofficial nephew Nicky. His mom is my girlfriend's best friend since they were babies themselves, so I'm technically an uncle. He's 5 months old and just about the cutest kid I've met, and I've never been the biggest fan of babies. Can't say I would mind my own version of him some day. 
Oh, I only wish my house was there. I live about a block inland. I know, I suffer so much.
It's Niantic, CT, a bit west from New London (where the ferry is). We should get semaphore flags and wave messages at each other!
