It's a sidewalk where the curb and sidewalk are poured at the same time, rather than placing a curb at one point, and then the sidewalk with a separate pour.

I was trying to figure out why it would be important for a plow driver to know this. I'm guessing it means it's more/less likely that the plow would damage the curb? Or vice versa?
Speaking of your engineering knowledge ..., so is our current little hiccup in the Boston Metro water supply just like an engineer's wet dream for you (pun intended)? Especially considering your area of specialty? Heck, for all I know, you could have been the one who found the issue. If so, thank you ... and don't listen when the million denizens of Eastern Massachusetts start railing against the engineers.![]()
