I mentioned this once in another thread and was pretty much called an idiot, but you can look it up. If you live in Iowa, you can't get the Twins, Royals, White Sox, Brewers, Cubs, and Cardinals. Ridiculous.
I know we're talking about the MLB package, but it's somewhat the same thing for the package I subscribed to, which was NHL Gamecenter Live. Now that the NHL just signed a big lucrative TV deal that will have more games on national tv, I'm wondering what the point is in resubscribing. If I could get assurances that if I paid maybe $20 more or something I would not get any blackouts, I think I would do it. What it is now I'm not sure if it's worth it because all, or most, of the games are blacked out. I didn't pay for a screen to say "We can't show this game". My response should be "The hell you can't show this game, I didn't just give you $160 for you to tell me you can't show this game".
Going back to Baseball, it does suck to live in a home region that has no baseball team, only to be told that the baseball teams in a 70-100 mile radius will be blacked out. That alone makes the package almost not worth it.
