I see the Iron Man's been mentioned as a possible return to the O's... Link

I hope this is legit. Cal's always been one of my favorite players.

Edit: And...Mets win! Way to go K-Rod! :techman:

Braves hit back to back home runs in the 9th to tie in 9th against the Phils, and then McLouth hit a long ball to win it in the 10th. Awesome.

Looks like the Red Sox have some new blood!

Changing umpires must be some major thing, for them to delay the Yanks/A's game for 13 whole minutes... :vulcan:

Side note: I freaking love that MLB The Show 2010 ad.

"Well played, Mauer..." :guffaw:

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw: at the people writing of the Red Sox this early. It's goddam April people...

They'll be right where they belong by the end of it...I would rather sucking now then in September.

As for the Yankee/ Red Sox fan debate...I really don't listen to Yankees fans unless they were a fan before the late 90s. Its not hard to be a fan of a team that hasn't sucked. I mean really, the Mets have been an embarrassing for the last few years, due to the on field product, and the way the organization is run. I do respect their fans for sticking through that though. The Red Sox have had a bad two weeks...who cares? IIRC the Yankees started out pretty slow last year too, and they won something over 100 games, oh yeah, and the WS.

Oh yeah, and DARNELL MCFUCKINGDONNELL!!!

Tomorrow begins the 10 game winning streak.

The 2009 Giants have made a bit of a return. No offense, opposition only get's 1 hit and they still win, and the Giants are on a 3 game losing streak. I'm not crying bloody murder or anything (They're still in first), but it is starting to get a little concerning. Hopefully they take one tomorrow, even though Wellemyer is pitching and I'm not confident in his ability.

Was it just me or did it look like there were more Yankee fans at the Yankee/Oakland game than there were Oakland fans?

There always are. A's fans are fed up with how the entire organization and city is ran. Still waiting for that new Stadium in San Jose.

The Giants will bitch if they do that. They've already threatened to sue.

Apparently Oakland's offered three sites for the new stadium: two in Jack London Square, one near Lake Merritt.

That's part of their charm. No matter sucky and dysfunctional you're life is, when you watch the Mets, you realize you don't have it all that bad.

I really want MLB Network back. I am sick and tired of hearing John Kruk talk about how awesome the Phillies are. They could be 0-100 and he would be saying they had 100 bad nights in a row and that it happens and have them at #3 in the power rankings.

What Phillies fan wouldn't? ;)

As for Kruk: I gotta go back to the time he faced Randy Johnson in the '93 All-Star Game. :D

Edit - Phil Hughes is really on a roll tonight!

So Im liking this whole winning thing the Red Sox have discovered lately...

Oh and DARNELL MCDONALD FOR COOPERSTOWN!

^Yet the Yankees still lost. ;)

Ok, before I start gloating, it was 2 out of 3 from the Yankees. As someone who watches the A's (And roots for them from time to time), at least they got one. Great home run for Suzuki (Who is on both fantasy teams) and just a good win overall. This weekend Cleveland comes to town and that should be a semi-easy series.

In his defense, the Phillies do have Halladay, Utley, and Howard :p
