Is it safe to say Berry Zito has finally returned from a 3-4 year hiatus? He's looked awesome the last three starts, and this is what we should have gotten at the start for 126 million. Of course the contract as been talked about ad nauseum, but it is just great to see Zito do so well and really turn it around the last few years. It's gone from a really awful signing, to a somewhat great story. The Giants also won a series against the Cards of all teams. That great. I'm going to the game tomorrow (Should be a lovely day at AT&T Park) and can't wait to see Cain face Pujols.

Went down to Kansas City last weekend for the Twins/Royals series. Had a great time, but the weather was miserable (except for Friday night's game, which was just about perfect). I kept hoping they'd call Saturday's game- I got drenched earlier while golfing and I just couldn't stop shivering. Figures that would be the game that went 12 innings. At least the Twins finally won that one, but since they won due to a badly blown call, it didn't feel as good as it should have.
I've always loved Kauffman Stadium, but now that the renovations are complete, it's even better. I can only hope Target Field will be that user friendly. We had great seats this time. The seats don't look so great in the picture, but they were better than what I'm used to. Here's my "Vanna White" pose during Friday's game:

The Giants of all teams got to Roy Halladay. Who would have guessed that given their offense. Is it possible we can kidnap Todd Wellemeyer and have a different 5th starter? They might actually win if that happens.
6 straight losses for the Braves. Let's see if they can manage to lose out the rest of the way.

Yeah, Peg, the K is cool. It looked so empty in the outfield before they did the renovations, but they really made it work. I just wish it wasn't so far away from Omaha.
