Ah, the Meh-ts. Already in last place, and the season has only just begun...

Mr. Met is on suicide watch, I've heard.
 
I winced watching Justin Upton run headlong into the outfield wall. He came away with the catch though....and damn near caught Russell Martin napping at first.
 
Mike Gonzalez has been removed as the Orioles closer. So glad we got rid of him. Just terrible with runners on base. All style and no substance.

Also, Braves have put Jo-Jo Reyes on the DL with a "hyper-extended knee." That's code for "sucks balls and gave up 9 runs." He's out of chances with the big boys. He's forever a AAAA player.
 
Rain delay for Yanks/Rangers...

Perez is really doing well for the Mets tonight. Anybody who can strike out Pujols like that is OK in my book. :techman:
 
Well, the Yanks/Texas game has been called at 6 innings. Its going to go down as a 1-5 win for the Yankees

Sucks that the Red Sox ended up suspending the game last night in the bottom of the 9th, 1 hit could have ended it. On the plus side, I'm going tonight, so I get to see the end of last night's game in addition to mine. Gonna be a long, cold night, though, if the rain even holds out to play them...
 
Awesome game for the Giants today, really made up for that very close loss the night before. Lincecum not only kept the Dodgers scoreless, but hit 3 for 3 and drive in 3 runs. Suck on that, Dodgers. :)

Too bad about Rowand, though...beaned in the face last night by Padilla with a 94mph fastball...has fractures in his left cheekbone. He's been awesome lately on either side of the field lately, so that's a shame. Glad he wasn't more seriously injured though, that was a scary moment.
 
I feel bad for Cardinals fans. They stayed for 8 hours to see two bases loaded situations with relief pitchers in the box, and then two position players pitch.

You know it's going to be a long season when the Nationals are ahead of you...:guffaw:
