What can you say? Manny's a bad, bad man![]()
Yeah, can't feel to comfortable with "Oh No, Joe" on the mound in a tight game. Much less with Manny staring out at him...
^
You're not going to tonights game?
And why would you want to leave? I'd insist on staying until the Royals broke the shut-out.
Wuss...
I'm a big fan of the play-by-play of Doug Mirabelli's life. There have been a few immitators, but the original (search for "dougie's going deep") is hilarious. Written late in the 03 season or begining of the 04 season, I believe, as there is a lot of him tooling on Nomar...![]()
Yeah, we were wusses for leaving early on Friday. With that wind, it was damned cold in Kauffman Stadium. We didn't go to Saturday's game because we had late tee times (got snowed out). But we did make it to Sunday's game and it was much better. About as cold, but a lot less windy, so we didn't wimp out and leave early. Outside of the fact that the Twins got beat (probably not the best conditions for Liriano to make his 1st start in over a year), it was a good time. And winning enough at the casinos to pay for the entire trip to KC was an added bonus.
Buck up, D-Backs fans; at least your pitchers last night didn't give up any earned runs.
Damn, Tim. You're living the good life, eh? Go to two games and get to see the Sox win in the 9th on both nights? Sweet!
Last time the Sox were in Baltimore, I didn't go to the game and Gagne blew it at the end (yeah, that famous one in Sept). Good thing I didn't go, because he made me sick that day.
Good to see that Manny is Manny, as always.
