Missing Episode Animation Wish List

Who says it has to? Own it, say right up front in the sleeve cover that 'this unmade story became the inspiration for Life, the Universe and Everything.' Then throw in Alan Moore's famous quote in the beginning of the book: "This is an IMAGINARY STORY (which may never have happened, but then again may have)... aren't they all?"

I barely remember Life, the Universe, & Everything. Mostly I just remember not understanding most of it. Although I still think it has one of the best opening lines for a novel: "The regular early morning yell of horror was the sound of Arthur Dent waking up and suddenly remembering where he was."

But because I remember it so faintly, I suppose I'd give it a try, either in novel form or animated DVD.

As far as Big Finish goes... I'd have to lean on No, with exceptions. I'd certainly to see some one-offs, like maybe Omega or Spare Parts or some of the Lost Stories... but not whole swarm of stories. Mostly because it'd take forever to have them made, and because, well, the fact that they're audio stories is part of their charm.

2 of my all-time favorite audios would be tricky to adapt visually anyway. 90% of "Scherzo" takes place amidst a blinding white light, preventing the characters from seeing anything. And the villain ends up being made of pure sound. Then there's "The Natural History of Fear," which has a big twist at the end that would be spoiled right away if you could actually see them.
It turns out that the characters we've been following aren't actually the Doctor, Charley, & C'Rizz after all but rather aliens with faint corrupted memories that made them think that they were maybe those people. What makes them realize the truth is when someone asks them how many legs the Doctor has, since he of course has 2 but the aliens are all multi-legged insect people.
