Last year someone posted a photo they took of what turned out to be a wall applique from the throne room set of the original Stargate film in an alley in Los Angeles. God only knows how it ended up there thirty years after production.Somewhere in a landfill in California there are probably hundreds of rocker switches, ice-cube-shaped resin buttons, and little blue fake intercoms.
I had to go read all the comments to find out whether they rescued it. Spoiler alert: they did. So cool.what turned out to be a wall applique from the throne room set of the original Stargate film
FINALLY......yes .....now I'm happy again ...![]()
It should have stayed where it was unsullied by such Interlopers. The guy who found it use pine sol to clean it and damaged it. Glad its out of his hands.

A new video is up with updates on the 33 inch model, including new video and photos, as well as plans for the future of the model in terms of restoration and, ultimately, public display. Take a guess where Rod Roddenberry keeps it secure in his house for the time being, I think you'll be surprised.
I watched this earlier today. The clowns that found it and initially refused to give it back to Rod have gotten nothing. No money at all. If they would have been honest and returned it to Rod he would have rewarded them.
Instead they refused and demanded money. Now all they have is legal bills for the case they lost. Sometimes justice is sweet. Lol
Really, they shouldn't have been dumpster diving for money at all. Then this could have continued to be the one that got away. From everybody.
