Micheal Jackson has died

Is he actually dead? The BBC News page just says he's been rushed to hospital.
I'll wait for confirmation

Sky, Reuters, and AFP are quoting TMZ.com, so far the only place that is committing to this story, on this.

You can have your jokes, give him names and laugh at his antics but seriously this man gave us "Thriller", the moonwalk, and amazing music videos.

RIP MJ.

....wait

TMZ reported this?

There seems to be some debate at the moment. Sites saying he died have changed to "hospitalized." Either way, it's not looking good for Wacko Jacko.

The "official" report is that a 50 year old was found not breathing, had CPR administered to him, then was rushed to hospital, some are saying that it actually is Michael Jackson.

I've not heard of this TMZ, but judging by the response over at Wikipedia's discussion page on the Michale Jackson article, they're about as reliable a source as FOX news.

I just heard from my news channel .Micheal has passed away because of heart attack:( R.I.P. Micheal

I shaln't be impressed if reports of his death are greatly exaggerated and then he "got better".

I confess, that after Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett, I was wondering who the proverbial 3rd death would be. Reports so far seem to indicate that he was not breathing when emergency technicians arrived, but that he was revived before being taken to the hospital. Still, a very eery headline to see so soon after Fawcett's death this morning.

All of his siblings except Janet (who I think is on tour right now) have gathered at the hospital, according to my local news. It doesn't look good. :(

They were pretty much spot on over the death of Natasha Richardson though.

CNN is saying paramedics revived him, hospital treated him and he was transferred to UCLA Medical.
