We're waiting for him to step up and kill Zod.How did this get turned into a Routh thread?

Does sound rather redundant doing both
And there will be three Batmen on the big screen in the next year or two.No more redundant than doing two light-skinned Supermen at the same time (Cavill and Hoechlin).
He's just producing. Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing and they're looking for a black directorPossibly, but you cannot tell the "creatives" in that business anything approaching reason. I would only have an interest in seeing Jordan's version, while JJ should not have his hands on that subject at all, for endless reasons.
Coates is writing the JJ Abrams-produced one, not the MBJ-produced one. Two different films. He's just producing. Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing and they're looking for a black director
Yes I know. I was respond to the statement " JJ should not have his hands on that subject at all, for endless reasons."Coates is writing the JJ Abrams-produced one, not the MBJ-produced one. Two different films.
I haven’t seen either, so I’ll reserve judgment till I do.Looking forward to Jordan's version, don't care about JJ's pandering version..

MBJ as Val Zod Superman sounds interesting. The other not so much, maybe because I am more interested in Cavill or Routh as Clark Kent
Routh needs to show up as Superman in Stargirl or Titans. Maybe even Doom Patrol.I'm the same. Not because I would have issues with a non-white Clark Kent. I'm fine with that. But I loved both Routh AND Cavill and would love to see more of both of their takes on the character.

Not sure why Jordan didn't get more blame for Fantastic Four 15 failing although I guess there are big reasons (the previous movies being bad, the director and studio publicly feuding and OTOH the Creed movies being very successful), still a pretty big thing to just ignore.
Blamed for what?
