Memory Beta help, please.

Dayton Ward

Word Pusher
Rear Admiral
Hiya, folks,

Apologies to the mods, but this was the best way I could come up with to put forth this request, as the contact info on the site itself didn't help me.

I know we have a few folks who devote time and energy to MB. I need one of y'all to contact me via PM. I've got a question regarding some content in a particular article, and before I dismiss it as being...well...not accurate, I want to discuss it with somebody who might be in the know. The reason I'm asking is because I was doing research for a project, and when I read the MB piece, I came away scratching my head. Googling some of the info in question came up with nothing but the MB references, and unless my brain is completely fogged, I don't think the info as entered is accurate.

Anyway, if someone affiliated with MB could drop me a line, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

ETA: After doing some more digging, I've answered my original question. However, if someone from MB still wants to give me a shout, I think I can help straighten out the info on the aforementioned article, in the interests of accuracy. Thanks again!

Who cares about accuracy? This is the Internet world and few things out here are accurate! :p

*shout*

I'm one of the MB bunch, how might I be of service?

On a general note to anyone: If you find something on MB that's wrong, or iffy, but don’t want to dive into editing it yourself you could leave a note on the article's talk page and someone will/should get on it.

The Grapes of Picard

Captain Picard, after a triumphant career in Starfleet, has retired to the family vineyard in Labarre, France. He looks forward to a simple life making fine wine and raising a family, free from the dangers of his former career.

But Picard soon finds himself embroiled in bitter conflict once again as an ancient otherworldly evil is unearthed in the very fields he tends! With the fate of the Federation at stake, Picard must abandon all that he holds dear in order to fight back.

Coming next month from Dayton Ward, the next thrilling saga in Captain Picard's life: The Grapes of Picard!

That's right, folks. And here's the official press release:

AP:Kalamazoo, MI. Writer Dayton Ward announced today that he will be releasing *CENSORED* in late 2009. The news was met with screams of joy from the members of the Dayton Ward Official Fan Club, both of whom were later taken away for observation. The announcement was made on the front steps of the Kalamazoo Facility For The Criminally Insane, where Mr. Ward has been residing for the past six years. Immediately after the announcement, the ball-gag was replaced and Mr. Ward was returned to the Isolation Ward.
