I didn't think of that, but I hope you're right and she is on the ship.Nice twist about Lawson's ex-wife. I (and I'm sure others) thought she was dead but I love the idea of a former lover working with the Empire, on the opposite side of a local lawman. If she ain't on that Star Destroyer, I'll eat my entire hat collection. And to boot: I find that dynamic far more interesting than an unnecessary appearance from Vader or even the inevitable Inquisitor.
I can't remember now if the promo stuff said that she will become Maul's apprentice or if he just wants her to be his apprentice. I was thinking it said she will, but thinking now that I'm thinking about more, it might not have been that definite. We just assume Devon will turn. She might not
That's a fan made trailer.Next week

I could be wrong, but it looked to me like Devon used a preparatory stance that's reminiscent of Kenobi's Form III/Soresu lightsaber style - holding the saber up over the head in the right hand with the left arm outstretched and two fingers pointing forward.I'm surprised and glad Master Daki has lived so far! I like how Devon and Daki have similar dueling styles.
Might be referring to the NihilInteresting, Daki says he's seen the galaxy change many times throughout his lifespan, implying he's long lived. While I doubt he's been alive as long as Yoda, I'm guessing he's still at least a few hundred years old.
General rule of thumb: if it's not from the studio or official YT channel of whatever the IP might be, then don't trust it, no matter what the title says or what the thumbnail looks like.I hate it when they get me with those things.
That channel gets blocked next.
Most likely he's remembering Marchion Ro's little reign of terror a few centuries back. Also; it's a big galaxy and Daki probably got around a lot over the years. Smaller individual worlds likely fall to tyranny quite frequently, while others also just as frequently throw off said tyranny, sometimes with the help of a Jedi, sometimes all on their own.Interesting, Daki says he's seen the galaxy change many times throughout his lifespan, implying he's long lived. Honestly, I like how they're handling his character. He may have some individualistic quirks, but he's still a droid who follows his programming. But yeah, the Empire stripping him of the things that make him unique will probably be enough to pushing to break protocol.Maybe, just maybe, Two-Boots will finally see the light.
I feel really bad about this, but I keep being thrown by President Palmer’s voice coming out of Daki’s mouth. And I like Dennis Haysbert, a lot!

I was wondering about that too. I wonder if we might start to see him popping up in some High Republic or pre-Phantom Menace stuff now that it's been established he's been around for a long time.Might be referring to the Nihil
Yeah, I had to same thought and was a little disappointed when Rylee called her instead of her showing up in person.Well, I was wrong about Rylee's mother being on the Star Destroyer and is instead working on Coruscant. I'm actually disappointed about that reveal and I guess I got ahead of myself with that potential dynamic. Oh well.
I'm very curious to see where they take his character as the season goes on. I was a little shocked how casual he was about calling the Empire and everything they'd been doing. He does seem a bit more restricted in his programing than other droids like R2, 3P0, Chopper, and L3, so it will be interesting to see if he's got enough free will to turn against The Empire now.Maybe, just maybe, Two-Boots will finally see the light.
Yup, I noticed that, too. Always fun to see her pop up in something. For a Star Trek (and Babylon 5) connection, Rylee's mother, Drea, is voiced by Tamlyn Tomita.
I didn't realize that was her, cool. For a Star Trek (and Babylon 5) connection, Rylee's mother, Drea, is voiced by Tamlyn Tomita.
