Because they want you to buy the game new. Of course, if you can find the game used for 15 dollars less than the retail price... you break even.
Because DLC like Zaeed (and Shale in DAO) are only available with new copies of the game, and not used copies. EA and BioWare are trying to entice people to buy new rather than used by including "bonus" characters.I have to wonder, what exactly was the point of having a bunch of DLC come out on the day of release? It's like buying a car then having to go back and pick up the doors and floor mats separately. Why not just bundle all the non-promotional content in with the initial install?
Zaeed himself isn't worth the wait, but his loyalty mission is. It has one of the better moral dilemmas of the game because you can't have your cake and eat it too.And Zaeed definitely isn't worth the wait.![]()
I think that has to do with the game detecting and playing the right scenes to go with how you upgraded the ship. The memory thing might be overcome by loading your ME2 disc 1 on to the HDD, but it just could be that you were playing for a while and the heat was starting to affect the Xbox.During the space battle at the galactic core the screen kept cutting to black for a second and caused the audio to go out of sync, and sometimes the frame-rate dropped to a crawl. Once again, I went back to my save-file before the jump through the Omega 4 relay to replay the scene and it happened again.
I didn't get it and I survived the suicide mission on my first Veteran playthrough.Couple questions. 1) Is there any reason to waste the money on the medbay upgrade about removing scars? Does it affect the end of the game?
Good, I was beginning to fear that my disc was defective. I just did that mission again this afternoon with my femShep and the problem happened for a third time.A lot of people had the glitch in your first one. I'm hoping it's patched eventually.
I'd install it but I only have 2GB of space left on my HDD and I doubt that it would fit. I guess I'll have to buy a bigger hard-drive for it, although I might just shell out the money for a whole new Xbox because the warranty is about to run out on mine and I want a HDMI port.I think that has to do with the game detecting and playing the right scenes to go with how you upgraded the ship. 1) Med-bay is only for people that have an attractive renegade femShep, luckily my renegade femShep is rather plain. Unless you're worried about your Sheppard looking pretty there's no need to buy it.Couple questions. 1) Is there any reason to waste the money on the medbay upgrade about removing scars? I still haven't learned how to recruit the final member... and Tali's loyalty mission hasn't appeared yet. Do I have to do the Reaper IFF mission to unlock those two things now? It seems to be the only thing left to do. 3) On the picking up datapads for the Omega guy mission, I went to Eternity bar on Ilum and there's nothing there. I already did the one on Citadel and delivered it to the guy on Omega. Glitch? 4) If I never play a character should I waste the money on their personal upgrades? There's one for Jack but I never use her. Does this factor into the end game?
2) Don't do the IFF mission until you have already done Tali's loyalty mission, you're only given the chance to do one more mission after that and that should be left for the loyalty mission of the mystery character. If you're looking for things to do while Tali's loyalty mission generates do some uncharted world missions. There's a list of them here, you should be able to find at least 10.
They can work on DLC for weeks or months after the discs are done and pressed - up until the day it comes out. Pretty sure you can do whatever missions you want after the IFF mission, it's just that there are... consequences for it.
