Marvel/Netflix Daredevil season 2.

Or maybe, like the real world, they have global warming and the weather is getting increasingly unpredictable. We've had some unseasonably warm stretches in the US the past couple of winters, and we're bound to have more. Although sweltering 90-degree-plus conditions in December would be a bit much.

Maybe the Hand dug that hole straight to the center of the Earth and the access to the molten planet core warmed up the neighbourhood. :D
I didn't really understand the whole hole thing. Why did they dig a bottomless pit again?

I wonder if it will tie into the backdoor to Kun'Luhn from the Iron Fist Living Weapon series that is rumoured to be the basis of the Iron Fist series.

Something else that confused me was in Karen's story there was hinted some big secret in her backstory. Some newspaper article in Ben's office that upset her. I should've gone back and freeze-framed it, but didn't. Anyone know what that was about? The only secret of hers I recall is killing Wesley, was there something else in early season 1?

Found this while searching for an answer about the hole that addresses that: http://io9.gizmodo.com/the-burning-questions-we-have-after-daredevil-season-tw-1766704488

Heh I can barely read the text in the screenshot, were we expected to be able to pick that up during 2 seconds of screen time? Thanks for investigating!

At the end of the season Frank sets fire to a house, is it Clancy Brown's house or his own?

His own, as I recall. Castle retrieves a CD-ROM with "MICRO" written on it from behind a photo of his family, then torches the place. Micro is the handle of Castle's hacker ally from the comics (and he was name-dropped once by Skye/Daisy on Agents of SHIELD).

I assumed it was his as well as being the reason for it being Christmas Eve as that would be a particularly bittersweet time for Frank.

I thought maybe I'd missed some bit of explanation for that hole...glad it wasn't just me.

I hope Fin Fang Foom is down the hole and The Defenders series is one huge multi-episode fight scene with Fin Fang Foom.

We'll find out eventually. It's one of the stories that is being dealt with just a little at a time. We see Nobu planning it in season 1, so at some point we'll find out their ultimate goal.

A lot of season one was about a Scooby Doo plot where Wilson is strong arming small businesses in Hells kitchen.

They showing him planning on digging a big hole in S1?! I don't remember that. Details?
They aren't explicit about it being a hole, but...

At the time I thought it was a Shadowland tease.
