Marvel/Netflix Daredevil season 2.

I believe those characters translate to "Big Hole".
Maybe "Dig Here"?

ETA: Apparently it's Black Sky which makes sense.

^ That's probably how they cloth their cadavers. With the long-johns and underoos of the citizens of NYC.

Hahaha

Just finished season 2 and while it was lower in quality than season 1, still a good ride overall and leaves me wanting so much more. Punisher was excellent and a spinoff even if less than the typical 13 is a must IMO though the best bits of the entire season was with Fisk, dam Fisk is such a compelling evil bastard.

Parts of the whole "Dark Sky" & "The Hand" felt a little jarring and half explained and when going up a parallel story involving Punisher & later Fisk it always seemed less interesting. I did enjoy Elektra and look forward to her return and a part of me would love to see her 2.0 return fight Jessica Jones some day.

Give me season 3 or the dam Defenders thing now, I am loving this MCU Netflix universe.

Some fun photos of Yung and Berenthal.

Finished the season the other day. Really loved Bernthal as Punisher, happy to see Fisk back, even for a bit, and loved how Murdock, Nelson and Page are moved around. The intertweaving references to Jessica Jones were nice too.

I had some difficulty with Elektra though. I don't know if its because of casting or what, but the whole arc reminded me a lot of the whole Oliver/Sarah/Nyssa triangle on Arrow a couple years ago. The plot had a lot of similarities I thought, and the actress cast as Elektra reminded me a lot of Katrina Law. This isn't a bad thing, it just got to be tough to not make unintentional comparisons to the other show and its characters.

I did like the overall acknowledgement of resurrection being a thing in Hell's Kitchen, particularly since we know it has already been done in the MCU with Coulson, but the big hole in the ground that was never addressed just made me think of Torchwood Miracle Day. That's NOT a favorable comparison, by the way.

Still... love the whole thing overall. I mean.. Jesus that fight in the stairwell... the final episode, and the last scene with Matt and Karen... bring on season three!

I'm 3 eps short of finishing s2. No Bullseye yet? Figured he had to be coming what with Elektra.

It's the other way around. Frank Miller's Daredevil predates any Arrow storyline, significantly. Elodie Yung looks alot like his Elektra.

Watched episode 6 either Saturday or Friday. I'm really liking Elektra so far, and her relationship with Matt is interesting. We seem to be starting to get the set up for The Hand stuff here that it sounds like will play a major role in the later episodes of the season.
I'm curious to see what happens with Punisher. I've read the descriptions for all of the episodes, and since he seems to play a pretty big role in the rest of the season, I'm assuming they must some how keep him out of jail.

Casting note, by the way: The new DC Universe Animated Original Movie Justice League vs. Teen Titans features two Daredevil cast members, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman (her second time in the role) and Jon Bernthal as Trigon.

Well that sucks for Daredevil then because I saw Arrow first, and the association started there. Oh well.

Lol

Did you see the Entertainment Weekly synopsis for Iron Fist?

Iron Fist will open with billionaire Danny Rand returning to New York City after being missing for years: “He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.”

^Haha. That's the exact same plot of Arrow Season 1.

I watch episode 7 this morning. I'm assuming from the comments up thread that we don't get any answers about the big hole by the end of the season?
I did not see Elektra going after the ME. She definitely seems to bring out the worst in Matt.
I liked the big bathroom confrontation between Matt and Foggy.
It was starting to feel to me like Matt was going to sleep Elektra when they were alone in the apartment, so I was glad when he didn't.
