Not at all clear. I'd expect the Suicide Squad version though. If so, they need to get out of the habit of killing off their villains at the end of each movie. As it stands only Abomination and Winter Soldier would be decent candidates. I'll bet the Netflix shows would be able to supply other members like Bullseye and Elektra. Put Rhodey or Hawkeye in charge and you got yourself a movie.

Didn't care for the Suicide Squad version. I'd rather see the undercover villains take. Though that would require introducing them as villains first.

Suicide Squad is my preferred version, though the undercover thing would be interesting, if difficult to pull off.

Oh yeah, add Batroc to that above list. They can even put a silly little Wolverine mask on him.

EDIE: Ooh, Man-Thing was on the TBs at one point. They can say they caught him after he messed up that Iron Man 3 girl's face.

I enjoy the Marvel movies... but they are also frustrating because they get so much right... and then get so many fundamentals wrong that you feel they are JUST SHORT OF GREATNESS (movies like Iron Man 2, Thor 2, feel so unambitious).

Captain America 2, Guardians, Avengers are all skirting with greatness. I'm optimistic.

I really enjoyed Iron Man 2. I agree that it didn't do much to up the stakes, but I found it more enjoyable than either of the Thor movies or even Iron Man 3.

I really liked IM 2, 3 and Thor 2. The biggest flaw in IM 2 and IM3 are the pretty lame villains. Thor 2's main villain was also kind of weak, but the events were interesting, as were most of the main characters so I don't count it as a specific negative like I do with IM2 & 3's villains.

I thought both Thor 2 and Iron Man 2 were flawed movies, but they were both above average films worth the price to see (I technically watched IM2 On Demand, but it would have been worth the price). Iron Man 2 seemed like it had more potential, but it tried to do too many things so it didn't do any one thing well. On the other hand, I'm not sure the common complaint of the SHIELD scenes were the problem. I'd suggest the scenes that slowed down the plot too much were Tony's self-destructive tendencies. I suppose, arguably, that helped set up Avengers, but it was also a big part of the character from the comics.

Someone once pointed out that the crisis in the story that has to be overcome is Tony's own demons. Once that's done, the villain wasn't all that hard to defeat.

All that said in defense of the status quo, there's no doubt that there was potential in the story of two children living in the shadows of their brilliant fathers. That story just got mostly left by the wayside during filming.

I assume he meant Marvel Studios film rather than just Marvel characters film. That's generally what people mean by Marvel film.

Yeah, the one I saw was the one that was the worst Marvel movie so far.
People usually give that dishonor to Howard The Duck, or Roger Corman's Fantastic Four.
Roger Corman's Fantastic Four is actually a better movie than Elektra, both Ghost Rider movies, or any of the Punisher movies.

And let's not even get into the very first Catain America movie, *shudder*

In a lot of ways, I prefer that movie to either of Tim Story's Fantastic Four movies as well.

Corman's FF movie was terrible. It was boring, the characters had no character, and it was just a waste of time. On the other hand, the Thomas Jane Punisher was great in my opinion, and the first Ghost Rider wasn't that bad (although I wouldn't call it good). Honestly, I'd also put the second GR film ahead of the Corman FF, although it was really bad. I haven't seen Elektra yet, but I doubt it could be worse than the old FF movie.
