The actual dialogue in FFH:

"They called it the Blip. Those of us who blipped away came back the same age. But our classmates that didn't blip had grown five years older."

"When- when I blipped back to my apartment, the family that was living there was very confused. The wife thought that I was a mistress. The grandma thought that I was a ghost. It was- it was really a mess. Thank you for coming out to support those who have been displaced by the Blip. And, of course, thanks to our very own Spider-Man!"

"It's my My Blip beard. Cause I grew it. In the Blip. It's a Blip beard."

If anything, they used the verb 'blip' to refer to both the original snap and the return snap. But it's pretty obvious the intent is to describe both snaps and the entire five year period between them as that's the only way that term 'blip' even makes any sense. Plus Happy obviously didn't instantaneously grow a beard when Hulk snapped, he grew it between the snaps, aka, during the Blip.

Thank you. That is how I remembered it--I appreciate reading the actual scene.

I'm sure Mackey will play Captain America in the movie, but nothing they did with the character after Endgame was good enough to get worked up about "Sam being disrespected."

I think that it was the IRL mass rioting in the streets, not seen since Bewitched switched Darrins on us.

You know, exactly what the comics and movies said would happen.

Clint kept the payments up.

1. Saving the world earned Hawkeye Free cell coverage for life.
2. It was a Stark-Tech phone and therefor free on the Avengers friends and family plan.
3. As S.H.I.E.L.D. tech, the phone may operate on a private network.
4. The outgoing message on their voicemail was Laura and the kids being super corny.
5. The cellphone companies agreed to keep all blipped peoples numbers active as a virtual memorial, so long as no one used them or abused the gift, because sad people were sad.... If half the cellphone users in the world disappeared, then all the cellphone companies will be close to bankrupt, scrambling to find a new business model before the beginning of their next billing cycle... Whoever bought up all the failing cellphone companies (Stark/ T'Challa? Justin hammer?) may have tried a free business model, since they can replace more than half their staff with AI, without a little innovation turning into a blood drenched industrial revolution.

Highly unlikely.

What about Michael B Jordan as Steve Rogers?

I just watched Eternity.

A romcom set in the after life about Mr Fantastic and the Scarlet Witch, hooking up and playing house.

On one hand you have to wonder how these two stars didn't discuss their cross Marvel synergy, but on the other hand Miles may have forgotten that he was in the 2016 Fantastic Four Movie, and Lizzy doesn't have time for dumb comic book movies that she is not in.

It says Steve Rogers will return at the end of the trailer.
Perhaps he is Johnny Storm in a universe were he was named Steve Rogers and looks like Evans. In that universe that Steve Rogers was named Johnny Storm and also looks like Evans. But he never became Captain America because Johnny Storm who looks like Evans became Captain America.

The baby will grow up to look like Matt Salinger and the baby will then become the next Captain America in that universe with his dad being the Johnny Storm in the trailer that just happens to look like MCU Captain America that looks like Evans and who also became Captain America in that universe. Who he then named Steve Rogers out of respect for the Steve Rogers who was part of the Fantastic Four and a good friend.

The Avengers movie though will focus on the Steve Rogers as Captain America played by Matt Salinger coming out of acting retirement, assuming he is retired and assuming he isn't dead. Which I don't think he is.

What they should have done is have Steve hand the shield off to Bucky at the end of Endgame, have him portray Captain America in the mini-series, realize he wasn't worthy of the shield/name and give it to Sam.

They should've had Walker kill Bucky instead of one of the Flag Smashers in FATWS
