Okay I see your point. Makes me wonder though why they would not just have her change her hair color to match that of the comics. Unless of course it is as simple as them thinking Sadie looks more attractive with red hair than as a blonde or whatever color the comic version of the character had.
Or maybe they're just more concerned with other factors besides how she looks, like how well she actually plays the character. I know it's so strange to think that maybe some people are actually interested in more than just how attractive they find an actress, but it does happen sometimes.
Or maybe she didn't want to dye her hair, not everybody likes to do that, and we've seen so many characters who don't have the same hair color as the comics version, that I think it's clear that they're more concerned with other things when casting.

I have to admit, I'm really disappointed they're bringing Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. I was really looking forward to seeing them bringing all of the new characters together, but now all anybody is going to care about is the original Avengers actors being back. I was willing to forgive Hemsworth being back since he never really left, and at least Downey was playing a new character. My biggest problem is that no matter how much the movie actually focuses on the characters introduced since Endgame, all the audience is going to care about is seeing OG Avengers actors again and it's just going to distract from all of the other characters and storylines.

but the idea of having two Captain America's at the same time, I don't think people will see as bad. We have already seen 3 Spider-Man's share the screen.

There's no comparison between three Spider-Men--all White--and the great volume of negativity regarding Wilson as the Black Captain America--the physical representation of their red, white and blue, "real American" ideology. That's the issue, not how many Captains are on screen. The most honest MCU production in its history was The Falcon and the Winter Soldier because it took that racial issue on head first, predicting the reaction a Black Cap would receive, and how he would be compared to (rendered "lesser than") to a White man in the role. That reaction / perception mirrored in reality is in the DNA of the MCU.

She's an actor. She's not going to keep playing the same type of character. Matt Smith didn't continue to play quirky aliens after he left Doctor Who. In fact he's played a few rat bastards.

I saw that during my daily visit to EW, and it sounds like Jessica Jones will only be in one or two episodes, which is a surprise, since they announced her so early and made such a big deal about it, I had assumed she was going to be a big part of the season.
So I wonder if we'll be getting a one or two episode appearance by a different Netflix lead each season?
Season 1 was Punisher, Season 2 is Jessica, so could we be getting Luke Cage in Season 3 then?

I can see her saying she would prefer to keep her natural hair and them going with it but I also think that when you make movie.especially a high profile one like this they make sure anything on screen is planned out in detail. From the clothes and hair style the actors have to the wording on every street sign and what vehicles they use, even if they are in the background. To much money involved to not focus on every little detail. No doubt they have GOD's knows how much market research on this stuff to make sure they go with the most safe picks or ones they think the audience wants to see the most.

I like Evans being back. It depends on how they use him though. If Downey Jr is the bad guy it sort of makes sense to have your two biggest Icons go off on each other. My guess though he might have a small role in the first movie and bigger one in the next one. Like what happened in the previous two Avengers movies. This movie seems to have multiple teams involved so I do think most peoples screentime will actually be pretty equal. Downey Jr might have the most because has the villain he seems to be the one that really instigates the story also they got to build him up and kind of explain to audience that is isn't the Tony Stark they know because if not I think lots of people will be confused.

I think that stuff though plays secondarily to people just wanting to see their favorite characters on screen. I also was a fan of The Falcon and the Winter Solider and personally I think if they had condensed that story into a movie, we might be having a different story for this movie. It really explored Sam WIlson way better than his own movie did and was better written .

So..no response to my points?

Bigger picture, as I've discussed in this thread: meaning the negative message Marvel Studios/Disney will send to bring back Evans in any sort of a "Cap" role when Wilson as the new Cap was supposed to be the thing going forward. Marvel Studios will dederve any blowback received from this desperate, socio-politically tonedeaf decision.
I would hope that he'd be "Hydra" Cap--but I am really disappointed Evans is returning in any capacity. Not only is it spitting on the Sam Wilson character, but it reeks of pure desperation.

Thing is we also know Sam Wilson is also in the movie. Who is to say he won't have a good role in the movie just because Steve Rogers is in it. If anything Sam Wilson might be so interesting it actually creates demand for he character to continue in the MCU. Almost a mea culpa for Brave New World.

I think Wilson is basically the team leader of the Avengers in the movie. They are one of several teams in the movie. I actually think Evans will be sharing the screen the most with Downey Jr/Doom. Doom doesn't really have a team exactly so far so they will need to give him some characters to interact with.

I could almost even see Evans as someone that the other teams have to work together I order to rescue him from Doom because Doom's plan hinges on doing something to Evans that can't be done or else all the good guys will loose. A Damsel in Distress for a lack of a better term.

Daredevil wasn't exactly watered down but they did get ride of his support system of characters and brought in new ones that were boring. The Punisher did well but it will be seen if they allow him to kill any bad guys other than corrupt cops. The fact that they were bad cops is I think the excuse they went with in justifying his violence.

Well corrupt cops are the bad guys in DD BA, who else should he be killing?

I look forward to the next goal post shift.
