Or maybe they're just more concerned with other factors besides how she looks, like how well she actually plays the character. I know it's so strange to think that maybe some people are actually interested in more than just how attractive they find an actress, but it does happen sometimes.Okay I see your point. Makes me wonder though why they would not just have her change her hair color to match that of the comics. Unless of course it is as simple as them thinking Sadie looks more attractive with red hair than as a blonde or whatever color the comic version of the character had.
but the idea of having two Captain America's at the same time, I don't think people will see as bad. We have already seen 3 Spider-Man's share the screen.
She's an actor. She's not going to keep playing the same type of character. Matt Smith didn't continue to play quirky aliens after he left Doctor Who. In fact he's played a few rat bastards.lol what

Or maybe she didn't want to dye her hair, not everybody likes to do that, and we've seen so many characters who don't have the same hair color as the comics version, that I think it's clear that they're more concerned with other things when casting.
I have to admit, I'm really disappointed they're bringing Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. I was really looking forward to seeing them bringing all of the new characters together, but now all anybody is going to care about is the original Avengers actors being back. I was willing to forgive Hemsworth being back since he never really left, and at least Downey was playing a new character. My biggest problem is that no matter how much the movie actually focuses on the characters introduced since Endgame, all the audience is going to care about is seeing OG Avengers actors again and it's just going to distract from all of the other characters and storylines.
There's no comparison between three Spider-Men--all White--and the great volume of negativity regarding Wilson as the Black Captain America--the physical representation of their red, white and blue, "real American" ideology. That's the issue, not how many Captains are on screen. The most honest MCU production in its history was The Falcon and the Winter Soldier because it took that racial issue on head first, predicting the reaction a Black Cap would receive, and how he would be compared to (rendered "lesser than") to a White man in the role. That reaction / perception mirrored in reality is in the DNA of the MCU.

I would hope that he'd be "Hydra" Cap--but I am really disappointed Evans is returning in any capacity. Not only is it spitting on the Sam Wilson character, but it reeks of pure desperation.Bigger picture, as I've discussed in this thread: meaning the negative message Marvel Studios/Disney will send to bring back Evans in any sort of a "Cap" role when Wilson as the new Cap was supposed to be the thing going forward. Marvel Studios will dederve any blowback received from this desperate, socio-politically tonedeaf decision.

Right. Just like Daredevil and The Punisher were watered down last season. It is the same character but knowing Disney they will likely soften the edges to the character and we will get a watered down version of the character.

Well corrupt cops are the bad guys in DD BA, who else should he be killing?Daredevil wasn't exactly watered down but they did get ride of his support system of characters and brought in new ones that were boring. The Punisher did well but it will be seen if they allow him to kill any bad guys other than corrupt cops. The fact that they were bad cops is I think the excuse they went with in justifying his violence.
