I'm sorry. When did we find out the Langs and Pym's emerged in a different time stream? Was there a scene about that in Loki?
Read what I wrote again. We did get a post-credit scene of a character emerging in a new timeline, but it was in The Marvels, not Quantumania. They probably already knew when they made QM that they'd be doing that in TM, so they saved it for there.

I was there to see the reassessment, and within their own generation of film, The Thing & The Shining were gaining a stronger foothold with post-theatre audiences as great movies.
I'm not seeing that groundswell happen, and no one seems to be able (or willing) to address why both films--part of a long-established franchise with millions of a near built-in audience were aware of--were major bombs.
What I said was:

EDIT: The Marvels scene had nothing to do with Quantumania. The comment was about my disappointment in the ending of that film as I felt the rescue of Hope was unearned and did not like how the movie circumvented its own established premise to have Cassie suddenly rescue Scott and Hope. I felt that, even if they were rescued, there should have been some consequence. Having Scot and Hope end up emerging from the Quantum Realms but in another timestream--or having the entire family shifted to another time stream--could have been a more interesting ending.

If they didn't tell people that Sabra was in the film no one would know she is, its not like she's wearing her old comic costume with the huge Star of David on it and she's an obscure character even to comics fans. It was obviously a bad choice to use the character in retrospect, but the film was written and started shooting long before the current issues (which isn't to ignore all the bad stuff that Israel was doing before last year, but it was still a different situation/atmosphere in the world in general).
They should have just either cut the character or renamed her and changed her to an agent of some other government (assuming she's even still a Mossad agent in the film). But we don't even know the context that she's in it, she could be in for 2 minutes and not even be connected to Israel in universe for all we know. Its a D-list Marvel character that was probably stuck in there to play some minor role way before it became obviously problematic, I doubt the movie is going to hinge on the character or even use her for more then maybe a scene.

IICR she's now an advisor to President Ross. So Mossad agent seems unlikely. I'm will to bet the whole character was reworked. She might just be a Jewish-American working for Ross.

I literally own her first appearance, and 2 of my most read Peter David Hulk issues feature her prominently. I know of her.
I didn't pick up of her being in the trailer. I just watched it again and still couldn't point to a scene where Sabra's in it. People are looking for something to be angry about because they have nothing better to do with their lives.

The point is, if they already planned to move a character to another timeline in The Marvels, they wouldn't have used the same plot device in Quantumania. It has to do with it metatextually, in terms of Marvel's large-scale planning. They wouldn't want to do the same thing twice. I'm not commenting on whether it's good or bad, just making an observation.
This "layperson" was just saying what I thought was going to happen while I was watching the movie in the theater. I really didn't believe that we received the "rule breaking" ending we got. Even when Scot was on his ending narration, I was expecting some kind of twist.
This whole thing seems like a massive over reaction to me.
I understand the controversy around Israel right now, but it doesn't sound like the character or the movie has anything to do with the war.

And there are people who try to stir up shit for the same reason.
