Just FYI, Batman (1966) was a theatrical film, theatrically released.

Although I was born in 1966, I saw it in a theater in the 1970s. So, Cesar Romero was my first theatrical Joker.

They wasted the chance of casting Walton Goggins in the MCU on that role. That was like casting Charlton Heston as some, two line random gas station attendant or something.

As much as I defend the importance of his role in Ant-Man and the Wasp, I have to agree with this notion. Goggins is a tour de force in acting and it's a shame this was his big MCU shot.

Maybe he'll get another shot in a series with an entirely different role. He wouldn't be the first (or even third) actor to take on a second role in the MCU.

I don't think they're all supposed to be seen as equally capable and interchangable either but that seems to have been lost in the shuffle.

I've been assuming since Loki set everything up that each time we meet "Kang" it would be a different variant, and he would be defeated at the end of the movie/season, and then the next movie/season would do the same thing, at least until we hit Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. I was under the impression they were supposed to be a 2 part story so I could see The Kang Dynasty variant sticking around for Secret Wars.

The best thing about that movie was Nelson Riddle's main title music, which fit the better parts of the Dozier production (the Semple-influenced parts) as well as the Hefti TV theme. Overall, the strong main title sequence presented a far different tone than the standard TV episodes.

Unconfirmed report has Deborah Ann Woll and Eldon Henson returning for Daredevil Born Again, at least for the first episode, as a result of the creative overhaul of the show.

Are you high? I had no idea that you had misspelt his name because without googling it I did think that was his name, but I know the actor you mean, and my point was that he's a charismatic, excellent actor, so the film must be forgettable that I cannot even remember it or him being in it.

Exactly, but some will tap-shuffle-tap over that with easily debunked excuses used in an attempt to prop up ill-conceived characters and hair-thin plots.



Excellent example. That was the way to build on a continuing story, and it certainly had audiences investing their interest in the fate and future of the both hero and villain. That was nowhere to be found in the Ant-Man movie.

But we'll never get to know if there are other Kangs out there even more dangerous. I think Feige was wrong to nip this storyline in the bud. He could have put it on hold until Majors served his time. Which probably might not be much.
