What grade would you give the Marvel Cinematic Universe? (Ever-Changing Question)

as I've said, it's disingenuous to pretend this particular weekend, just days after the end of the strike that prohibited the actors from promoting the film, can be judged by the typical formulas. It's only now that they're really able to begin a promotional push for the film, so it's logical to expect the curve to be different, to make allowances for a slower start.
And as I've said, you keep asserting that the lack of actors promoting the film was a serious handicap, but you haven't offered any evidence that such promotion generally makes a significant difference. You're presenting a theory as fact, or at least something very close to fact.

Yet you seem incredibly invested in gloating about what a massive failure it is at every opportunity.
And you've described this movie a "so-called bomb," and used extremely cherry-picked numbers to compare it favorably to Barbie. JoeZhang may be reporting on the movie's BO a bit more often than is useful, but you're hardly being a neutral observer here.

Until it finishes its run, my final word is that the Monday actuals were dire (It might be beaten in South Korea this week by Top Gun). The general audience has no interest in this film, and the front-loaded fans have been and gone. Disney is looking at one of the biggest bombs in history. It is, however, the 7th biggest Monday for a post-pandemic, PG-13 action sequel about an American fighter pilot, so that is something to celebrate.

How did you end up getting my name on that quote?

Fantastic trailer! I'm glad we finally have a release date...and it's soon! I know the naysayers will have things to say about how they're releasing the episodes but I, for one, am excited for the advent calendar, albeit for only nine days.

No comments on the possible scenarios until I can watch the trailer on my computer properly tonight, except to say I'm thrilled to have more Nebula and Darcy!

Also...could bearded Hulk be Maestro?! Might be why we're finally getting him as playable character in Marvel Contest of Champions.

Agreed.

Well put.

By that logic, Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 must be awful movies.

Fantastic (pun intended) actor but I just don't see as Reed Richards.

Also slightly too old for a role that might run at least a decade unless you are aging up the rest of the Fantastic Four (which you could do by starting midway through their career).
