Saw the movie, can comfirm.
You're the second person to say this. How so?

Those are from people handpicked by Disney to get free tickets to generate positive publicity, so I'd take them with several handfuls of salt TBH.
I 100% think they shouldn't bring back Iron Man
Rotten Tomatoes scores mean as much as professional film reviews, and the site itself should be purged from the Internet.
I choose to just dismiss its contents as irrelevant blather.
I was being perfectly light. You were the one bringing the drama by calling that one shot of the Infinity War trailer "infamous."I was merely pointing out a historic example of Disney's trailer manipulation. Lighten up, Francis.
Thanks for the citations, but I don't necessarily consider YT rants from Critical Drinker and his posse evidence of notable/significant fan discontent. Judging something as ambiguous as fan reactions is inevitably subjective, but discontent with making Sam the new Cap strikes me as a fringe opinion, whereas disinterest in the character of Captain Marvel strikes me as widespread. Some of the rants I referred to were so offensive (with some videos long removed from YouTube and other platforms)...
Maybe, but in this case, I was specifically commenting on how the trailer presented the scene.I've seen to many trailers screw take scenes out of context, so that they look one way, but then in the final movie or show or game, it turns out it's the complete opposite of what the trailer made it look like.
Agreed; when it comes to representing critical opinion, Metacritic is far and away the more useful and reliable site, and they give the movie a fairly weak score of 51.RT is about as valuable a source of information as the Magic 8-Ball.
Feige dreams of having the power that a guy like Selznick had.
Why is it that the people most insistent the no one else's opinions matter are the ones who shout the loudest about their own?
Don't nobody remember their motivation. I should know. I watched it.Do you remember the Skrulls entire motivation in Secret Invasion?
Early data suggests is this is crashing and burning internationally as well.
Probably because it's nice to say.Why is it that the people most insistent the no one else's opinions matter are the ones who shout the loudest about their own?
Do you remember the Skrulls entire motivation in Secret ?
Then you're doing a better job than Feige & Co.

Afterall, one should dare to think for oneself, right? And not rely upon the tyranny of the majority to inform one's opinion, and to rely upon debate to invigorate one's own opinions.
Question everything when it comes to opinionsNone of which the people in question do, so what's your point?
Not really.^ No one is saying anyone should believe the word of any particular critic, or even the prevailing critical opinion. But declaring all professional critics' reviews to be worthless isn't "questioning everything" or "thinking for one's self"; it's merely arrogant solipsism.
