I mean...that was expected this time. The only thing that is surprising is that this wasn't announced sooner.

There is one positive change: Deadpool 3 was moved up from November to May.

So I guess by the time they finally appear together on screen there will be no point calling the Young Avengers "Young" anymore...

I was having a little chuckle to myself feeling glad I wasn't an Avatar fan until I saw the marvel news....
At least we get Deadpool 3 sooner. That's pretty nice.

Newton and Steinfeld are already older than Johansson and Olsen and about a year younger than Hemsworth when they all had their first MCU movies.

True, although they have benefit of looking considerably younger (at least, screen younger) so they might still get away with a Young Avengers film/series for a few more years.

One thing I didn't notice at first is that they also seem to have dropped the two unnamed MCU movies they had on their schedule. Are 'Shang-Chi 2' and 'Armor Wars' dead?

Deadpool 3- May 3rd 2024
Captain America: Brave New World- July 26th 2024
Thunderbolts- December 20th 2024
Blade- February 1rth 2025
Fantastic Four- May 2nd 2025
Avengers: Kang Dynasty- May 1st 2026
Avengers: Secret Wars- May 7th 2027

Yeesh. By that time Tom Holland will have been Spider-man for 10 plus years.

Norton created the most spot-on Banner since Bixby (by far, the greatest live action Banner), and his internal conflict felt like the dangerous struggle it should be.
By spot-on do you mean accurate to his characterization in the comics, or believable for a person in his situation?

That's a big part of why I've been thinking that the Champions might be a better name than Young Avengers. It's the same basic idea, with a team made of a new generation of heroes, but they don't have to deal with calling a group of people who are probably going to be in their mid-30s by the time the movie is made "Young".

I doubt the announced changes will be the last reshuffeling and rescheduling due to the writers strike.
But I'm lucky, Cap New World has only be moved 2 months.

Wow. Deadpool 3 in less than a year! That seems like a quick turn around although Deadpool movies are not fx heavy so I guess that should not be an issue.
