Spoilers Marvel Cinematic Universe spoiler-heavy speculation thread

What grade would you give the Marvel Cinematic Universe? (Ever-Changing Question)

Kate Bishop was born a year after Peter/MJ/Ned, but she's older than they are because they were snapped and she wasn't.

What if Kate Bishop has a Harry Osborn connection? She was from a wealthy family. Maybe they attended the same prep school being a year apart. Perhaps the trajectory of the MCU Harry Osborn was altered by the MCU Norman Osborn dying in the NYC attack.

Chloe Bennet anyone?

That would be amazing.

...but I would be very surprised if that happened.

I'd like it too if she popped up somewhere, but I'm not expecting it.

I wonder if that could be a reason why she pulled out of the Powerpuff Girls show on CW.

Her agent really stinks, since Chloe OUGHT to be an action star by now (well, even with Covid...)

Hopefully the MCU will consider her & Agents of SHIELD in some capacity...

If not Secret Invasion, than Quantumania? (They DID use the Quantum Unverse as a time travel method...)

This is more a general observation of mine rather than anything related to spoilers...

...But does anyone find it rather humorous that the MCU has given us probably the best modern days incarnations of both a "Superman" in the form of Steve Rogers AND a "Lex Luthor" in Baron Zemo?

Seriously, thinking over their characters and their development and execution they seem to fit those archetypes a lot easier than others have. And I really have to wonder how that happened.

Not sure I get Zemo=Luthor.

Extremely rich dude with genius-level IQ who counters superhumans by always being two-three steps ahead of them, has an uncanny ability to suss out their weaknesses and exploit them to the hilt, and (depending which version of Luthor you're talking about) was either inadvertently done dirty by a superhero earlier in life and wants revenge, or would just prefer a world without superhumans in it where he is the apex predator.

That's a lot of villains, including Doctor Doom. Who even has the European thing going for him.
Can't see Lex or Vic dancing around like EuroTrash though. ;)

Is Zemo a genius?

I assumed his superpower was Entitlement.

When Baron Zemo was introduced during the Silver Age of comics, he was said to be a brilliant scientist who invented a number of advanced weapons for the Nazis--Adhesive-X being his most famous (for its role in his life and hatred of Captain America), so al things considered, his number of inventions might lead some to see that version of the character as a genius.

Henrich Zemo was the World War II era genius who invented adhesive X.

His son Helmut, founder of the Thunderbolts, rearered up in the 70s to avenge his father's spoiled legacy by tricking Captain America into jumping into a vat of Adhesive X, by jumping into the vat of adhesive X first.

Unfortunately HELMUT forgot to wear his HELMET, his airtight, hot glue tight, with a rebreather, protective headgear, and his face melted off, because he might be a moron.

Helmut is our MCU antagonist.
