I was just thinking yesterday that since Loki has only one episode left, we're due for another What If...? trailer and premiere date.

Uatu clearly heard me.

I can't wait!!!!

Also: I watched the first trailer yet again the other day and I noticed Uatu says "...new realities..." and I can't help but wonder if this series exists as a direct consequence of the first season of Loki...

At first blush it looks like they are really swinging at some low-hanging fruit. I want to like this but it just seems a bit dull and that animation house style isn't doing it any favors. Hopefully it's better in execution and there's a couple of interesting scenarios as I've like a lot of "Elseworlds"/alternate universe stuff over the years. I probably have more alt Batman comics than the real deal.

So the most random easter egg in this week's "Loki", namely the giant Yellowjacket helmet, mightn't be so random after all, as there now reports that Corey Stoll will be returning in "Quantumania".

At the end of the original "Ant-Man" he shrinks into the Quantum Realm. And we saw in"Ant-Man & The Wasp" that Kang's city of Chronopolis seems to be located in there. And the Void from "Loki" has multiple connections to Kang.

It's all connected people.

Hmmm...what if the TVA exists in the Quantum Realm? We've never seen outside...

(Only a semi-serious but not really even that serious take)

Edit: Actually, having rewatched the final scene of the last episode again, maybe that's not such a crazy idea...

Animated Thor looks perfect with this. It seems not all the actors are doing their own voice though? Doctor Strange doesn't sound like Cumberbatch.

Interesting--I wonder if the void is actually the quantum realm. Shunt timelines into the quantum realm where the would presumably not be able to affect the main timeline.

I actually thought they might wait until this series concluded and make the connection explicit in the trailer.

Major Cinema chains such as TOHO, Shociku, Toei in Japan are refusing to show 'Black Widow'. This is supposedly because they had paid advertising money for movies such as Mulan and Soul but the movies were ultimately not released in theaters. Seems kinda stupid because they have thrown their own advertising money on 'Black Widow' away in protest and will lose out on the money from screenings on such a big movie. Bit childish to stop showing Disney movies over this. The rest of the world had to deal with the same thing.

They might still do that in a potential third trailer before the series starts. Still got another month to go so I wouldn't be surprised if we got one more trailer.

Loved the trailer for What If? I always get a kick out of alternate universe stories, and it looks like they picked some really good ones.

The Wikipedia article for the series has a list of the actors from the films reprising their roles, those characters who will be voiced by other actors, and a few characters that we don't know which actors are voicing them.

Has there been any speculation that Marvel might make Reed Richards black? His possible decent Kang is and yes I'm aware there is 1000 years between them. But general audiences have been confused by less.
It's certainly a simpler way to diversify the Fantastic 4 than having Sue be adopted.

I saw this the other day but didn't share it here because it's from a dubious source.
