Pretty sure they're killing off White Tiger so the mantle will be picked up by someone else, which happenned in the comic.
Agreed. Specifically, I believe that is Hector Ayala who we saw get killed and it is his sister Ava who will pick up the mantle. And The Punisher will be framed for the murder. I suspect this because no one can confirm if that was actually Jon Bernthal wearing the Punisher suit or another actor, and I don't understand why the Punisher would kill White Tiger, who has traditionally been portrayed as one of the good guys.

The stakes for that movie are high, as the studio is still searching for characters and actors who can carry its universe forward after the exits of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans.

That almost reads as if there's a perception that the still-connected MCU actors (Mackie, Stan, Ruffalo, et al.) cannot carry the MCU forward, thus requiring the shot in the arm the FF is supposed to be.

The first of the new Avengers movies, due out in 2026, was initially titled Avengers: The Kang Dynasty but will be getting a new title to remove the character’s name, though sources say that even before Majors’ conviction, the studio was making moves to minimize the character after Quantumania underperformed, grossing $476 million.

So according to their sources, even if Major's hadn't been a dickhead they still would have moved away from Kang.

Of course, this is all based on supposed insider information. Fair to speculate, but let's also remember this is dependent on incomplete, possibly inaccurate information. I'll wait until we hear official news on any future developments before casting any judgment.

Yes, I know this is the internet and what I just said will be ignored or mocked. Carry on.

So it's just going to be called Dynasty?

No Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, but Marvel is still moving ahead, just retooling, according to this report: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/m...l-fantastic-four-avengers-movies-1235830951/?

Impossible - we have been assured here many times that this cannot happen and that regardless of the bombs, flop and criminal convictions nothing can or will change.

Clearly more lies from mainstream media and the announcement of Ms Marvel and the young avengers is likely to be just around the corner.

AKA hardcore wishful thinking on the part of some MCU fans.

*fingers crossed*

I would not be surprised if both eventually end up as streaming animated series.

Hollywood Reporter says the course corrections at the MCU are less of a soft relaunch and more of a major retool of what they have currently going. Avengers 5 will go by a different title, but the plans for that were well underway regardless of the incident with Majors as they lost all confidence in Kang following the underperformance of Quantamania

So as always. Blame Paul Rudd.

Yeah, the Zombies stuff was fun for a one off episode of What If? but I'm not sure if I really want a whole series.

True, but this is coming from The Hollywood Reporter which is a pretty trustworthy, so it's not like this is just random clickbait site.
I am curious how they're going to down play Kang, I hope they give us something more than just a quick offscreen defeat.
So it sounds like pretty much everyone wants Doom as the next Big Bad.
