Another vote for 'Hawkeye' easily being among the better Marvel shows. Solid cast, great chemistry, fun story, entertaining action, and a nice companion piece to the 'Black Widow' movie. Definitely the best Christmas themed Marvel anything not featuring Kevin Bacon (sorry Iron Man 3!) Possibly the most rewatchable for sure; indeed I may even add it to my annual holiday watchlist alongside 'Trading Places', 'Arthur Christmas' & 'The Muppet Christmas Carol'!
I'm cautiously optimistic about this one.

As I've said before, it should have been Tinker Tailor Solider Spy meets The Thing, instead it was the most generic spy thriller imaginable but with random dull shape shifting.
Hawkeye is my second favourite MCU show after WandaVision
Count me among those who thought Hawkeye was a breath of fresh air. What I appreciated most about it was the understanding that origin stories for Avengers - especially young Avengers (because if it had any macro use, it was introducing Kate Bishop) should be lower stakes and street level. Marvel has really suffered from Phase IV onward because there's too many destroy the earth/universe plots shoved into everything - most notable in Ms. Marvel, where a "our universe could be destroyed" plot is resolved before the last episode - showing it was never intended as anything other than melodramatic filler in what was a small-scale, personal story rooted in Kamala's status as an immigrant kid still in high school.
The Hollywood Reporter article is a real eye-opener. I think the fact that the head writers were kicked out of the discussion so early, and the directors even had so little pull, helps to showcase why Disney+ MCU TV shows all feel so...samey...by the end, with both a general lack of distinct episode arcs and underwhelming, overblown season finales. Ultimately they were just treating them like their movie productions, only worse, because in movies, directors do have some pull. Jessica Gao coming back in post on She-Hulk also makes sense because it largely avoids these issues, actually feels like a TV show, and has an ending that pokes fun at the silly MCU finales (which I have to think she added in post, given what we now know about behind the scenes shit going on).

And I also don't get the whole "it's lower stakes so it's good". Lower stakes doesn't stop Kate and Clint from being terrible characters, or the plot from being generic mobster/vigilante stuff. Plus there were many lower stakes projects in phase 4 like She Hulk which were far better than Hawkeye
Alaqua Cox is coming back to D+ in her own show, can't remember the title.
I skipped Secret Invasion bec of the negative reviews. I thought Loki and Moon Knight were awesome, hoping MK comes back for a second season. Hawkeye was a light, fun show.
She-Hulk didn't really do it for me, it was well done but felt kinda pointless, I give that one a solid C-.
I kinda like the short season arc shows, doing a 6 or 8 hour TV mini-series focusing on a handful of characters with unique stakes to complement the feature films can do a lot.
I also like having 10-13 episode seasons for some shows. I think there's room for both. I also believe having a writer-showrunner to head these series is an absolute must

I don't get the dislike for Secret Invasion so I'd suggest you watch it. I thought She Hulk was pretty good (better than Hawkeye and FaWS)
FaWS is uneven but I'd say it worked somewhat
Ms Marvel is good and a far better example of a young hero than Kate imo
I 'm starting to have a bad feeling about "The Marvels" box office chances.
I booked a ticket for the big IMAX cinema in London as soon as they went on sale, but having a look again now I can see 90% of the seets are still available for that screening which is on the weekend it opens.
The comparable screening for GOTG3 was fully sold out in a similar timeframe, except for a few in the front row.
