If we ever get Hugh Jackman again, it'll be in Deadpool 3 and only because Ryan Reynolds wore him down finally.

Fingers crossed!

I think it would be cool if Deadpool's first appearance in the MCU is in the next What-IF and he actually breaks through the 4th wall to talk to the Watcher as the Watcher narrates. lol.

Damn, I didn't expect it to show up so soon. Didn't even make it a full week.

I guess Marvel figured it would leak soon and went ahead with the official release.

^Is that the euphemism the cool kids are going with these days? I can never keep track . . .

Anyway, I'm still hoping that the one character (besides Wade) to make the jump from (fo)X-Men to the MCU will Laura/X-23. Dafne Keen is terrifyingly close to being a grown up at this point, so well on the way to being the new Wolverine.

The only thing with a Young Avengers movie, is Hailee Steinfeld's 25, and Kathryn Newton will be too in February. By the time it would come out with Marvel's schedule they're not really gonna be *that* young. (In that I thought the point in the comic was that they're practically teens.) Typical Hollywood 30 year olds playing teens situation I guess.

I totally agree that they're going a Young Avengers route, hiring the hottest young actresses around for the roles made it pretty obvious, but I do find it hilarious that the cast of the "Young Avengers" are the same.age as some of the OG regular avengers when they started out. And they're playing teenagers vs the OG playing adults.

Which is why I think Pugh is with the reg avengers. She's the same age as Newton & Steinfeld but Yelena is in her late 30's (at least....) based on the movie timelines.

Edit:. Removed "most", replaced with "some"

;)

I mean, Kate's already supposed to be in college here so she was never actually intended as a teen in the mcu. Cassie Lang might still be 18 or 19, depending on when this YA project takes place, but she could also be 20 or 21.

I don't know how much the point of the comic was really about them being teens specifically, but even if it was, I think making them all college age gets a similar point across well enough.

Even if they age the characters up to their 20s, they'll still be Young Avengers compared to the OG Avengers, who will all be in the 40s/50s/60s by that point.
