As a parent heavily involved in my daughter's school and our neighborhood's Halloween activities, I can tell you that Marvel is its own brand, and that it STARTS with little kids...and after watching Disney + , definitely reaches to "adult" material. But like the MCU fanbase we have seen....while a huge portion will follow just about ANYTHING in the MCU, there are some properties which might have a portion of its audience being exclusive to it. For example, quite a bit of Black Panther's success came fromt he black community, which rented out movie theaters so whole schools could watch it. That, in addiiton to parents taking their kids to see it as well, was not typical of other Marvel movies.
Similarly... i think Marvel is being more open for "R rated" stuff, but that is NOT going to be the focus of most of their material, and will want society to think of it as more of a "family" thing, though not as kid oriented as the "Disney brand", but rather one that kids might get started in (such as through Spider Man) but still follow through their teens and beyond.

I imagine Yelena would be with the Young Avengers if for no other reason than her association with Kate.
Is that truly a reliable source? I would think that most black news sources would emphasize the postive influence/significance of Shuri on the black community, especially black girls, so not a character easily trashed.
Can you show some evidence? I thought fear-mongering statements on the internet with no provdied evicence was supposed to be the exclusive domain of extreme conservatives.

Terrance Howard? Maybe...but Letitcia resonated with at least black audiences way more than Terrance Howard did with audiences.
With Black Panther 2 coming out next year, it will be interesting to see how these comments age at that time. Definitely will want to follow up at that time.

I totally agree that they're going a Young Avengers route, hiring the hottest young actresses around for the roles made it pretty obvious, but I do find it hilarious that the cast of the "Young Avengers" are the same.age as some of the OG regular avengers when they started out. And they're playing teenagers vs the OG playing adults.
Which is why I think Pugh is with the reg avengers. She's the same age as Newton & Steinfeld but Yelena is in her late 30's (at least....) based on the movie timelines.

It may be possible that Kate Bishop will be a full Avenger. She's an adult.

I would welcome the entire former Netflix/Marvel shows into the MCU. There's now two, but the rest would add a long-needed edge of more serious perspectives/approaches, especially the Punisher. If the MCU never brings Bernthal into the film, it would be one that franchise's major failures, as he's easily one of the top 5 best interpretations of a Marvel comic source.
Bucky. Zemo referred to him as a member of the Avengers, without protest from Barnes.

Serious as in criminal, yet you will see some gloss over his crime, and come to the breathless defense of James Gunn with his history of pedophile "jokes" and attending parties dressed as a priest (the implication that the priest is a molester), but attempt to demonize and/or "cancel" Wright, Dave Chappelle and others. One need not wonder why.
James Gunn engaged in utterly despicable actions and "jokes" about the sexual abuse of children, yet he has "earned" one job after another since that scandal broke, and notice the industry and news media silence over that fact. If they still go after Wright, after quickly sweeping away the Gunn matter, you will be witness to the long-lived double standard practiced by White Liberals in entertainment, the news media and among fandom.

With Gunn, that all happened decades ago, and he has repeatedly apologized, and has not behaved that way in a long time. He was also working for Troma Entertainment, who was known for being offensive and outrageous, and I believe he's said it was a persona he put on, because that kind of thing was expected of their people.

Her superhero name in the comics is Stature, not Ant Girl.
Last time I read anything with the character, which was a couple years ago, she was going by Stinger. Stinger is actually her original superhero name in a wibbly wobbly timey wimey matter of speaking. The first time we ever saw Cassie as a superhero was in the MC2 universe, most notable for being the home of Mayday Parker, AKA Spider-Girl. She was an adult hero and a member of the Avengers and she went by the name Stinger. When she became Stinger in the mainline Universe, I thought it was a nice full circle moment for the character.
Oh, OK. Most of the stuff I've seen online about the character has been in relation to her stint with the Young Avengers, and she was Stature then, didn't realize she had changed her name since then.
Just checked the Marvel Wiki, and that says Stinger is still her current alias.
If she does get her powers in the comics, I wonder which name they'll go with?

With the rumors that Patrick Stewart was spotted on-set somewhere during a Marvel production it's definitely possible that the other universe's X-Men will be appearing in the MCU. Tell Hugh Jackman to dust off his jackets and his claws because methinks the big guy is gonna be back.
Probably in the Multiverse of Madness. Otherwise, they're both too old to continue on as recurring characters
If we ever get Hugh Jackman again, it'll be in Deadpool 3 and only because Ryan Reynolds wore him down finally.
