Personally I'm neutral on her, her character is horrid and shouldn't be around but it's not really her fault, it's the terrible writing of the MCU Spider-Man movies. as much as I hated The Amazing Spider-Man films, Emma Stone was the better actress and I like Kirsten Dunst character a lot better than Zendaya's although they might be at a similar acting level

Wow, that is unexpected. It's definitely looking this is going to be a live action Spider-Verse movie.
 
Sweet. He was by far the best thing about all three of the Raimi films.

At this point, is it too much to ask for Shameik Moore to show up as well?
 
Given that Doc Ock died in Spider-Man 2 and that they're also trying to get Emma Stone back this sounds like the Spider-Verse idea of these being almost but not quite the previous versions of the characters.

If they were going to go that route they might go with someone younger, since the character is usually a teenager in most version.

If we could get an older Peter Parker in Into the Spider-Verse, we could get an older Spider-Gwen here. After all, they would obviously prioritize Emma Stone's star power over fidelity to comic books that only a tiny fraction of the moviegoing audience has ever read.

Maybe that would be too much for this film since we're getting 3 spider-men and their own problems.
 
I'm not one who pays much attention to Hollywood gossip but she's apparently pregnant, which is she dropped out of a major role recently. So best to temper expectations to a cameo role at most.

Then again, she's not much older than Garfield was playing Peter Parker (32 vs 29). :)
