I'm pretty sure people who actually followed Holland said he had never followed Sony in the first place.

However , if we gonna by experience, Spider-Man actors who are not in line with Sony may end up fired rather sooner than later.

Kevin Feige hinted at that, along with X-Men, for Phase 5

I read the article in the last page and that really did help clear things up.
It might have been an understandable move from Sony from a business standpoint, but I still question if it was a good idea from a creative standpoint., so far they've been rather hit or miss in that regard. The article also mentions that one of the people in charge was at Fox when the X-Men movies started, and that doesn't build a lot of confidence either since they've also been pretty hit or miss from the start.

That seems very odd ... taking the character right back to high school immediately after he graduated seems like it would be the studio admitting we (or they) didn't do a good job the last time, here's it done right, I could see Feige thinking that and using that as a selling point, not Sony of themselves.

Feige worked for Sony; every decision that was made in Homecoming and Far From Home was made at the behest of and had to be approved by Tom Rothman.

Rothman is more than just 'one of the people who was in charge of Fox' back then. He was reportedly responsible for massive meddling in Wolverine Origins (including sewing DP's mouth shut), slashing budgets in superhero films left and right, pushing PG13 ratings on the Die Hard and Alien/Predator franchises, rushing X3 and First class and, oh yeah, he was the idiot who refused to even consider greenlighting Deadpool. (But he did greenlight the Emoji Movie at Sony, so, I guess there are some movie ideas he likes.)

Yeah, the name Tom Rothman inspires as much confidence as the name Avi Arad in my book.

The only thing that can help is a massive letter campaign to Sony asking for Rothman's dismissal!:evil:

I suppose an MCU version of the New Agents of Atlas could be made to work without Silk if needs be. Or they could add her to the lineup later on if that door were to eventually be opened to them - after all, Spider-Man himself was not involved when the first Avengers team-up took place. It would still be a shame if she had to miss out because of ongoing issues between Sony and Disney, however.

Sweet! So happy both She-Hulk and Moon Knight are getting their own shows!

Even better: The return of Kat Dennings! Although I'm surprise she's going to be in WandaVision but hopefully it's a prelude to Love and Thunder! :D

I don't care one way or the other about Kit Harrington, but Kathryn Hahn is always great!
