Good god, it's absolutely disturbing to think someone's already planning movies which won't come out until I'm 57.
I don't think there is anything tangible beyond "hey wouldn't a movie about this character not be cool?"
I mean, Marvel movies is the whole product palette of Marvel Studios. It's not like they will actively stop making movies in a couple of years.
Except that it makes no sense to create an entire mystery around who she's playing if it is just going to be some obscure character like that.
Right. You want your reveal to be a "holy shit" moment, not a "so what?" or an "and..?" or an "why should I care?"
Exactly, it has to be a character that is known by the general public or at least referenced in an earlier movie. Maybe she's actually Mary Jane Watson, for example.

Feige has talked in the past how they're restricted from making a Miles film until the Spider-Verse trilogy is complete. Clearly this is something he wants to do at some point, but I agree it's far too early to call it "confirmed."
Probably already working on the fight scenes. They can come up with the scripts later!

I'm reading this in a very loose sense of the word planned.
But with her introduction being related to an incursion, it would make more sense for her to show up sometime during the Multiverse Saga.
Oh, that I hadn't occurred to me, but that's probably one of my favorite theories so far. And while that specific character isn't super well known, her being the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man's daughter would still be enough to get a big reaction from people.
They haven't mentioned Tobey either way, but I have a feeling we would have heard about it by now if he was, and I don't think I've heard any rumors or anything about him. Other than that questionable synopsis earlier in the thread.
