Making concessions: What must you have?

Tub-o-popcorn with extra butter-flavored topping and a ginourmous cherry Coca Cola (although my wife and I share the Popcorn and Coke).

We will sometimes smuggle contraband Raisinets into the theater -- but if not, my daughter would want me to buy a box of those (or Sour-Patch Kids or Nerds Rope), and I will have some of her candy.

Cola, gummy bears and crisps. Usually I will take a small amount of the drink throughout the movie but I hate having to distract myself from the movie to open the snacks or crunch crisps when theres dialouge. Normally I just have something to eat after the movie is over.

I never buy anything at the concessions. Sometime in the last year my theater started selling the tickets at the concession stand though, so I have to wait in line with everyone that does want concessions.

I seriously doubt I will see this movie opening night, so I won't be eating anything in the theatre that night.

However, when I do go I will probably be with my two nephews. And we typically get a large popcorn and share it between the 3 of us. :)

Dinner will be long past by the midnite showing so I am thinking some Popcorn, Coke, and chocolate for a late night movie snack.

Some theaters allow outside food bought "within the attached mall" in with no questions asked. We have, in the past, just walked right in carrying bags of Subway footlong sandwich's we bought at that malls food court and no one gave us a second look.

Rarely will eat or drink anything during a film but on the odd time I'm thirsty I'll grab myself a coke. Normally my friends and I go to dinner either before or after we see a flick.

I'd rather have a hefweizen or a nice stout of some kind all truth be told. Id settle for a Coke/Pepsi though. Id like to see the movie opening day if at all possible, but i hate large crowds so i might decide to wait and go see it with my brother.

They have a Burger King in the theatre I go to, so I'm getting a fuckin Whopper. With cheese. Might even get myself some poutine as well, depends how much I hate myself when I look in the mirror that morning.

I'll probably get nothing.

Or whatever strikes my fancy at the time. I have no 'routine'.

Hey I can get a kid sized snack thing which has a small popcorn, small drink, and candy and its cheap not to mention not frikken huge like regular (but actually freakishly huge) size.

I usually don't get anything at all. If I do, its usually a box of milk duds and a coke. Not a big fan of popcorn.

You really want to try eat a Whopper in the Dark while trying to watch the movie? :p

I remember going to the cinema and seeing someone bring in a chinese take away. Could smell it all through the movie.

Pic and Mix.

Me and the girlfriend have started taking hot drinks into the theatre. The Odeon near me has a sort of posh hot chocolate/coffee machine.

Still overpriced, mind.

I'll get a large soda. Preferably a Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb, depending of course on the theatre I attend. Halfway through the film, I will be overcome by the urge to urinate. I will miss ten minutes of the film, thus insuring I return for a showing the next evening.

Maybe I'll skip the concession stand.

No one over 16 years of age and no one in possession of a sombrero will be allowed in the theater during opening week.
