Make up a fake bit of Trek trivia!

Janeway's dog was accidentally beamed into outer space because somebody forgot to tie it to a post.

FACT: The set for the nuEnterprise bridge was built in the same Paramount soundstage that once housed the set for the original Enterprise bridge 40 years earlier, but uses more of it.

FACT: They originally planned on having an Irish Setter on Voyager as Captain Janeway's dog. But none of the dogs they had got along with Roxanne Dawson in her Klingon make up, so they decided that Janeway had left behind Molly.

FACT: While it was never used or mentioned, there were attachment ports where Cardassian warships could clamp on Deep Space Nine and go to warp.

FACT: They were going to have Wesley join the Maquis.

Law of Mortis Nervosa: The jittery guy on an away mission is doomed.

1st law of Klingon behaviour: If Worf son of Mogh proclaims that Klingons don't do some specific activity, rest assured that they do do it, frequently and with gusto.

Law of Milesean Infallibilty: The bloody cardies can't be trusted. For real.

Law of dramatic unreliability: Any time the Enterprise encounters some wierd and possibly dangerous phenomena it has never encountered before, many ship's systems will spontaneously stop functioning. Warp drive, impulse drive, shields and internal comms are typical victims of this.

FACT DeannaTroi's line in Insurection of "Have you noticed you boobs firming up," was a inside joke on the part of the writers concerning Marina Sirtis's plans to get breast augmentation surgery.

FACT: At the end of "Second Skin," Kira would have been revealed to actually be Iliana Ghemor.

(actually that is half true. They were really going to leave it ambiguous. )

Armus was intended to be revisited in DS9, and it would have been revealed that the race that shed "him" was the changelings.

That is probably true, actually. It would certainly fit.

^uh... No :wtf:

It was clear from Skin of Evil that Armus was all that was evil and ills of the race that created him. The Founders weren't free of ills...

FACT: Gene wanted Riker to say "Who the hell is this Kirk person" in The Naked Now.

Colm Meaney doesnt have opposable thumbs

Actually, Colm Meaney is missing his right hand middle finger, much like James Doohan did. Only, he had his hand fitted with a prosthetic finger for his role on Star Trek, so he wouldn't be bothered with constantly trying to hide his hand.

FACT: Colm Meaney got handcuffed to the dabo table shirtless for one of his birthdays.

FACT: Originally, Deep Space Nine was called Babel Six, but it was changed because it sounded too similar to Babylon 5.

FACT: The captain of Voyager was originally going to be named Wilma Robinson, and Data was going to be the first officer with the catch phrase "Danger, Captain Wilma Robinson, Danger!" :D

FACT: Bea Arthur was going to play an Admiral in several episodes of TNG and DS9, who would have Estelle Getty as her mother who tags along.

FACT: Colm Meaney turned down the Malcolm role on Enterprise because he wasn't on Voyager.
