Yeah, it must not have been fun to be an Angels fan. Must've really sucked when the second baseman forgot to tag the base in the 8th. I was like wtf? when that happened. The Angels are a good team, though, and they put up a fight in this one.

Well that was a pretty epic game. If only it was so long because both teams were playing amazingly rather than goofing up

As a Twins fan, I feel significantly better about our series with the Yankees now.

I was surprised to see so many empty seats in the stadium at the end of the game last night. I know it was raining and late, but :wtf:? What kind of fans leave a tie playoff game?

Or maybe I'm just thinking about it wrong.

That game seemed to last forever even before it went into extra innings. For a while there, I didn't think the 5th inning was ever going to end.

Hopefully the Angels will turn things around now that they're on their home turf.

The Angels played the Yankees pretty much even in New York, so hopefully the change of venue helps the Angels out. The series hasn't been broken open until someone loses a game at home.

Any New Yorkers reading this, might want to drop by Yankee Stadium for Game 3 of the ALCS.

yes, you read that right. :)

They will be opening up the stadium to anyone who wants to watch the game there. I'm guessing they'll have lots of screens set up where you can get the feed from Angel Stadium. Apparently it's free - just walk in. The Great Hall and the field level will be open. linky

Looks like the Dodgers and Phillies get a taste of that kind of weather tonight... oh, BTW, go Dodgers, I hope they make it to the Series so the Yanks can beat them. :techman: :D .

I'm rooting for the Phillies. Living in south Jersey, it'll be pure mayhem between fans of the two biggest bball teams in the region. I also don't want to face Torre and Mattingly in the World Series. That would just be sad for me.

RAMA

I think a face off against Torre would just add a little spice to what would be a great series ;)

That said, the way the Dodgers are being hammered this game makes me think the Phillies might just take it

Wow, that bat just slipped out of Victorino's grasp and nailed a guy in the stands...nice of the Phils to give the guy the bat.

I wonder if they would have done that if it had been a Dodgers fan who got hit. ;)

I'm thinking Yankees/Phillies. Yankees/Dodgers would be cool but I'm such a fan of Torre and Don that it'd be tough to watch in a way.

What a game.

They will have to regroup at home at find some way to drive in some God damned runs.

:scream:

After watching that game last night, I'm starting to think that God is a DamnYankees fan.... :wtf:

That and Erik Aybar needs to practice hitting the bag at second.
