Luther Series 2

The problem is it aired on BBCAmerica, and not everyone gets that station, and if they do, it's just one station among the hundreds they receive. I think that those who did watch it LOVED it. Most Americans, however, would probably know him from The Wire or The Office, rather than Luther.

Luther was the first time I noticed him, and it made me a fan for life. :adore:

I first saw him in Ultraviolet. He was gorge in that too.

I always remember him from Bramwell.

He WAS awesome in that. Didn't watch it until after Luther, though.

He was absolutely fantastic in that, but then everyone in that show was fantastic. He took what could have been a very two dimensional character and gave him and awful lot of depth.

Love the show! Waiting impatiently for its return.

I've only heard the name "Idris" twice, this actor (who is a-ma-zing) and "The Doctor's Wife."

I like that there was less Alice in Season 2, because that worked best for the story. But I still want her there sometime. They work so well together, actors and characters.

Idris was actually called Idrissa but shortened it when he went to school. Proper Eastender, he is.

Give him booze?

The last time RevdKathy gave me beer we started serious political talk. Do I know how to turn a woman on or what?

I don't think you were really trying on that particular
occasion. ;)

Not that particular occasion, no.

As for Luther, I believe Deckerd recently read the novel that serves as a prequel to the series and found it a bit too grim. Given she loves the show I think the book must be very grim.
