Again, humour is subjective. Just because you didn't find it funny doesn't mean other didn't.Well Mariner wasn't annoying for once, so that's a positive. Nothing there was funny though? Not sure if that's the intention.

I haven't seen this posted yet, so...
The Star Trek on CBS Twitter account recently shared a couple of character promos, one for Ensign Tendi and another for Ensign Rutherford. In case there were any lingering doubts, the Tendi promo confirms the character is a medic.
Additionally, Titmouse announced a Lower Decks t-shirt club. They did something similar for a few seasons of The Venture Bros. and the designs were all pretty cool and thematically tied in some way to their corresponding episode. It seems like a similar setup this time around: one new t-shirt each week after a new episode releases, with the option of purchasing shirts individually or as part of a subscription package that includes every design.

They don't give the first names for Tendi or Rutherford, which means either they didn't know, or couldn't say before CBS did.

I'm curious as to whether the legacy actors are limited to the TNG cast, or if we'll see folks from DS9 and VOY show up. I guess we'll find out soon enough.Episode 1 preview pictures

The article also has a quote from Mike saying some legacy actors will show up in season 1.

“In this show, you get everything you want from Star Trek,” says the exec producer. “Mysteries, adventure, ethics, honesty and morality. We are very careful not to break anything. We are definitely not making fun of Star Trek and you can definitely fit Lower Decks into a proper timeline of all the other shows and movies in the franchise.”
Trekcore posted that it's gonna be released Thursday morning - does anyone know the exact time?
This clip is funny:

I really like that bit from McMahan: “But I gotta say, if anyone wants Mariner to show up on their live-action Star Treks, you’ve got to have Tawny.”
Good question. If no-one steps up before Thursday I'll just go ahead and post it myself. So who is going to be our designated review thread maker?
